All right, people. I have just watched the new ending of Cardfight! Vanguard and I honestly needed to write something, since it was so sad it almost made me cry.
Please enjoy.
"Aichi, why did you do this to me?" Kai asked as he looked up the sky as he remembered what actually happened. He and his mates came so far, why did Aichi of all people did this to them? He clenched his fist in anger as his eyes were slowly filled with the liquid called tears.
Kai was glad that it was still early in the morning, because no one would be present to see his tears flow down his cheeks. He closed his eyes and let the pain out, because he wasn't quite sure, if he could handle this. It was just too much. He and his friend successfully beat the Quatre Knights and what happens? Aichi faces off with them with a brand new Link Joker Legion unit, Kai had never seen before in his life.
He beat every single person present in the sanctuary and the last match was reserved for Kai, who else? He thought he could reach Aichi with the will of his dragons and the deck of his soul, but he was cruelly defeated by the hand of the one he loved the most. He still recalled Aichi's last words.
I beat you once and I won't hesitate to do it again.
Kai remembered Serra's stupid talk about Aichi being sealed with the Quatre Knights. He refused to believe anything absurd like that. He needed Aichi back and that was also the right thing to do. This is the best decision he could do, right? After every of his mates lost their memories of Aichi once more, Kai was starting to doubt himself. Was he really doing the right thing by obsessively search for Aichi and putting other people in danger in the process?
He yelled out in despair. He held his head, because it was at the edge of exploding. He wanted Aichi back. He wanted to see his warm smile and hear his soft voice again. He required it in order to survive. Kai wasn't sure anymore if he was able to gather the strength to do this journey all over, to fight his friends to remind them of Aichi. How was he supposed to do that anyway without Blaster Blade Seeker?
"Aichi! You idiot! Why don't you realize that I need you more than anything!"
Kai kept sulking as he was slowly going insane by how he missed the little bluenette, who didn't only save the world but him as well. Every muscle of his body started to ache and felt like being ripped apart bit by bit by the overwhelming pain consuming him.
I'm so sorry, Kai-kun.
Kai's head shot up as he recognized the voice of the one he adored the most. He saw in front of him a pure blue light shining like the moon. It was Aichi with a sad expression on his face. He had his black coat on and his eyes reflected nothing but sorrow and sadness. This was the Aichi he knew and not the one he fought in the sanctuary.
Please, stop searching for me and move on. I just want to protect you and make you happy, Kai-kun.
Then the light, which made Kai's heart race started slowly to vanish. Kai's eyes grew wide in shock because he didn't want Aichi to leave. He wanted for Aichi to stay just a little while longer. But he faded more and more away. Kai instinctively tried to catch the disappearing light, but as he managed to wrap his arms around Aichi's body, it broke into million pieces of light reminding Kai of feathers, of angel feathers. His eyes started to tear up again and he realized he had just lost Aichi, again.
"Aichi!"
