The nightmares
In Scott's point a view
The night after Virgil got shot down, lets just say that I had a sleepless night because I couldn't bear to leave my younger brother. I know that I needed to let Dad know what was going on, believe me we all know how hard this is for Virgil. Once I got someone to sit with Virgil I slowly made my way down to Dad's office, to have a word with him about Virgil. This can't go on.
"Come in"
"Hey Dad do you mind if I have a word with you a sec? I am really worried about Virgil"
"What's wrong son?"
"He has been having nightmares since he got shot down two days ago. He tells me that he is fine but something tells me he isn't, I feel helpless when I know that I should be doing something."
"How many times has Virgil been having these Scott?"
"He seems to be having them every hour Dad, I haven't left his side since so I just thought that I would let you know about that" I explained to my Father.
"Ok Scott why don't you go and get some rest?, I will go and talk to your brother and find out what is going on. Let me call Brains and get him to give Virgil something to help him sleep"
"Thanks Dad, I have left Alan in there with him. If I am honest I didn't want to leave Virgil on his own after what has just happened"
In Jeff's point a view
Once Scott told me about Virgil, this got me really worried. Like Scott said Virgil had told us all that he was fine after the shooting had happened. I guess I should have kept a good eye on him, making sure that he was ok. As I headed towards Virgil's bedroom I made a quick call to Brains to meet me there with sleeping pills for Virgil.
"Jeff Tracy calling Brains"
"Go a head Mr T-Tracy"
"Could you meet me in Virgil's bedroom with sleeping pills? Scott has been telling me that he has been having some nightmares and hasn't been sleeping too well. They are coming every hour, every time he tries to close his eyes. I am on my way to see him now"
"Ok Mr T-Tracy I will sort something out for you."
"Thanks Brains see you soon" I said as I made my way to Virgil's bedroom, It may have only been two days since he got shot down so maybe its just catching up with him now.
"Come in, Hey Dad is everything alright?"
"Not really Virgil why didn't you say that you were having nightmares after getting shot down? We thought that you were doing Ok and Scott is worried about you"
"I thought that I was doing ok Dad, what If I can't bear to go near two again because of what happened? You know I put my heart and soul into helping Brains designing TB2. It feels as if I did it for nothing" just as Virgil finishes talking to Jeff Brains calls in with Virgil's sleeping pills
"Here you go M-Mr Tracy"
" Thanks Brains,Virgil you are going to be fine, we are working very hard on TB2 to get her back into action again. For that to happen we need you to relax and like I said before you take care of yourself and we will take care of TB2. I promise if we come across any problems you will be the first person to know. In the mean time why don't take these sleeping pills that Brains gave me for you"
"Dad?"
"Yes Virgil"
"Will you stay with me?"
"You know I will, sleep tight son"
