One Shot Lauren and Joey branning fanfic from the eastenders Christmas special, after Joey apologises to Lauren for 'ruining' her Christmas. R&R!
Chapter One
'Sorry for ruining your Christmas Lauren' Joey said sadly while gently tucking a piece of hair behind Lauren's ear
Joey gave up and stood up but just as he did Lauren took Joeys hand and stroke the back of it with her thumb
'You didn't ruin my Christmas Joey' she replied with a half smile
'Come on Lauren, I'm sure you had better Christmas's' Joey said
'But I had worse' Lauren proclaimed with a smile still on her face
Joey smiled and pulled Lauren into a hug, right there in Lauren's bedroom that she shared with her sister Abi, Lauren felt happy again.
Lauren's POV:
I felt happy. I felt loved. I have felt more than what I did in this past month from the moment in that hospital bed when Joey said he didn't love me, up until now. I was back in Joeys strong arms and I felt safe. Safe from Derek, safe from the looks my mum was secretly giving me because of what happened the night before, and I felt safe from alcohol.
I pulled away with the thought of my dad thinking we must be up to something because we did take about 20 minutes to sort everything out, but of course everything's not sorted but for now it's Christmas so I decided that both of us should just carry on with the night that was going so well and talk about this some other time.
'We should go back downstairs now, my dad will be thinking we're up to something' I suggested
'Yeah! I think that's a good idea.' Joey replied
'Can we talk more about this tomorrow or something?' I asked
'Yeah, sure I'd like that' Joey replied
Joeys POV:
I was glad Lauren wanted to talk about this some more because I needed to prove myself that I was truly sorry.
I took my hands from Lauren's waist and opened the door, I offered her to go ahead and she accepted.. Just as we walked out of her bedroom Derek my dad was to out right.
I noticed Lauren stared at him for awhile and continued walking over to the stairs..
I pointed out to him that it was up to Lauren if I should stay or go, before walking in back downstairs with Lauren in front.
Sorry if it's short but this is my first fanfiction and first published chapter/story.
