What if Evan's dad didn't die when Evan came to see him? I do not own anything.
Tanner wakes up in the hospital the next day to find himself in the presence of Clark Kent, Evan, and Lex Luthor.
"What the hell do you want? Where am I?" Tanner shouts.
Lex whispers to Clark, "You and Evan might want to leave so I can handle Tanner."
Clark and Evan leave, leaving Tanner alone with Lex. Tanner tries to get up but it hurts too much.
"I might as well get straight to the point since you are in a lot of pain. Your son needs your bone marrow. Before your son and Clark enters this room again, you are going to sign this saying you are willing to donate it." demands Lex, holding up a paper and pen. He handed him the paper and pen but Tanner refused to grab it.
"And if I don't sign it?" asks Tanner.
"You know, I know most of the people in Smallville, including your boss and other mechanic shops." says Lex.
"So you are gonna blackmail me. That is so classic for rich people like you."
"Sign it or lose your job. You don't want to work at McDonalds do you?"
After about 5 more minutes of talking and Lex slowly getting meaner, Tanner signed it. Lex left to go give the papers to the doctors who (because of Lex) was ready to prep and operate on Tanner.
Within an hour, the surgery was over and another hour the later Evan and Tanner were both waking up. Clark and Lana surrounded Evan when he woke up. Lex told Clark and Lana to say hi for him when he woke up, he left to go back to LuthorCorp.
Evan was so out of it when he woke up. He woke up to see Clark and Lana seeing at him.
"Hey Evan welcome back." says Lana and smiles.
"How are you feeling?" asks Clark, also smiling.
"Good, I guess." replies Evan, "How long am I going to be here?"
"The doctors told us till at least till tomorrow morning." replies Lana, "I brought you this."
She holds up the encyclopedia.
"I thought I could read it to you. You stopped at windmills, right?"
Evan nods, with a big smile on his face.
Lana starts to read and soon enough hours go by and Evan is starting to fall asleep.
A/N At this point I really don't what to do with Evan besides start high school. Any suggestions?
