The takedown of Team Rocket

Chapter 1: Briefing on mission, intel on goings on at Team Rocket, induction of 3 new members, plus a make-believe betrayal

Hi there, this is a separate story which is a supplement to my main fic. It depicts the take down of Team Rocket by the Pokemon G-Men with help from 4 former Team Rocket agents. In case any of you are wondering yes, they'll be going with Ash and the others in the main fic as mainly comedy relief knowing some of their antics depicted in the anime, offer more intel on possible return of criminal organizations/criminals out for revenge, and so on. Well enough of my babbling let's get this back fic started.

After everyone woke up from their nap, it was around 7 in the evening and most started to head out after a tiring day celebrating Ash Ketchum's win in the Kalos League/against Diantha for the championship plus his birthday. Those who decided to stay for the time being were Ash's girls who were going with Ash on his journey obviously (but for the time being sit tight while the others went on their mission,). Paul, Tobias, Lance, Gary, Ritchie and Leaf as they were going to do a briefing on their mission to destroy Team Rocket and offer Gary, Ritchie, and Leaf a position as part of the G-Men.

Ash: "Well everyone, thanks for coming to celebrate with me and maybe we'll run into each other traveling."

Cilan: "See ya Ash, maybe I'll teach you how to cook while you're traveling whenever you come to Striaton City."

Ash: "Sounds like a plan. I hope to see you there Cilan." he said holding his hand out for him to shake which he took. Then, he closed the door only to suddenly hear knocking on the window from the living room. He and the others turned to look at who knocked and he found 3 of his old tormentors from Team Rocket. Instantly, he and Pikachu went on the defensive ready to send them flying at the wrong answer of why they're here. Ash opened the wondow and they had the look on their faces like along with their hands up, "we come in peace."

Jessie, James, Domino and Meowth: "Hey twerps and Champion Lance, by the way happy birthday Ash, sorry we didn't show up earlier using our old tricks for old times sake." they said in unison. Ash did a fist bump with them happy to see them. However, he noticed wary looks on their faces and he told them to get in the house.

Ash: "It's good to see you 4 too guys. What are you 4 doing where? Is there something up?

Jessie: "Well, we came to celebrate your birthday/win in the Kalos league/against the champion, but that'll be later. Plus, to answer your question, yes. We quit Team Rocket cuz Giovanni has been sending out kill orders to several of the grunts, including Cassidy and Butch (A/N you all know the green haired guy who people very frequently say the wrong name and he yells at everyone who gets it wrong). We didn't sign up for that at all. We also have evidence that may help streamline convicting him and the other admins in trial and possibly sentence them to death. Also we wish to free some of the Pokemon that were kidnapped by Team Rocket" she said while handing Lance a disc that contains the evidence she is talking about. Meanwhile, the 4 were introducing themselves to the others

Domino: "Jessie is right. Believe me, I didn't want to be a part of any murders either. If possible, we wish to join the G-Men or at least the Pokemon rangers for a 2nd chance at a new life/repair any destroyed family relationships along with people's lives." This got everyone thinking about what they said and whether or not the telling the truth/leading them into a trap. Meanwhile, Ash used his aura to check their emotions along with reading their minds.

After a few minutes of thinking and whispering, the G-Men came to the 4 ex-Rockets.

Ash: "I've detected no sinister intentions within any of you, you may help us take down Team Rocket as we'll need uniforms to get to your former boss without suspicion. However, if any of you even attempt to double cross us, you will die and that's a promise! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!" Ash started seriously then finished with an angry snarl.

Jessie, James, Meowth and Domino in unison: "Understood!"

Ash: "Good, now if you'll excuse us we'd like to get to our briefing. You're welcome to join us to fill us in on what we're about to go up against by the way." he said, then the 4 follwed suit and subsequently sat down.

After everyone was accounted for and settled. Lance spoke up to begin the briefing

Lance: "Good evening, I'd like to thank Jessie, James, Meowth and Domino for submitting evidence to the G-Men that'll streamline/aid in the eventual conviction of Giovanni and realizing the error of their ways signing up for Team Rocket. First thing before our briefing begins, we'd like to offer Gary Oak, Leaf Green and Ritchie Hiroshi a position to become part of the G-Men. Now, I know some are going to ask several questions about Leaf part of the G-Men, and well to answer any questions, we've decided to let select females join the G-Men depending on previous expereinces in their lives. The job you're offered is extremely dangerous as you'll be up against merciless terrorists, other criminals, etc. Do you accept this offer given the risks that may appear?" he asked putting emphasis on the word select.

Leaf, Gary and Ritchie: "Yes, we do. No matter the risks, we'd rather get ourselves killed fighting than die defenseless."

Lance: "Excellent, now let's get started. Ash if you would begin please?" he asked, then Ash nodded, got up and began the briefing

Ash: "Thank you Lance. As most of you are aware several hours ago, Trip along with some Team Rocket thugs came here hell bent on an attempt to turn my friends against me blinded by hatred, particularly Trip. Reason being is unknown, best guess would be to kill anyone who would say no if say I didn't arrive before they did, and then force all of you to betray me, chase me out of Pallet Town and into exile for several years making me blinded by hatred toward all or at least most of you. Without further ado we'll now review the evidence contained on the disc. James, Jessie, Meowth and Domino if one of you would continue." he explained then asked one of the 4 ex-Rockets to step up

Domino: "Thanks Ash. As we've said before, Team Rocket has not only been kidnapping Pokemon, but also sending out kill orders to the grunts targeting people and Pokemon. Now for a question, does anyone besides Jesse, James and Meowth have an idea of how to get into Team Rocket HQ without arousing suspicion? I was one of the higher ranked lieutenants to Giovanni so I was able to get every bit of info I could retrieve." she asked. Then, she inserted the disc into a computer. What everyone was looking at truly shocked them minus the ex-Rockets as they already saw it. It showed people/pokemon being beaten, killed, if they didn't agree to join Team Rocket. Tobias raised his hand wishing to speak up.

Domino: "Yes Tobias?"

Tobias: "How about we disguise ourselves as legitimate Team Rocket members? That way, they won't know who we truly are, let alone our intentions until we reveal our true selves. Thus, some of us might get a high ranking position right off the bat knowing our previous experience before. The real question is, what to do when whomever looks at us suspicious? Plus, from what that disc showed, it's obvious that we have to destroy Team Rocket ASAP while we still can before they start doing anything worse."

Everyone took a minute to think about that particular question. It was a good idea of Tobias to all of them to go in undercover in disguise. However, he's right, there's a possibility that someone in Team Rocket, maybe worse Giovanni will find out their true intentions before they get what they find and then try to bring him down. Also, they agreed with Tobias' statement. After a few minutes, Paul spoke up with the answer.

Paul: "How about we play out a scene, in which we make believe that we are betraying Ash, except myself and Tobias turning our back on him and then chasing him out of Pallet Town for eternity. Where as us, Domino, Jessie, James and Meowth would be the ones comforting him, then they bring him into HQ and make him a member? We might be able to keep an eye on him from here while he carries out the undercover mission since he can use aura. Also, Ash do not think we are truly betraying you. That's the last thing we would want to do to you." he suggested then reassuringly finished to make Ash feel somewhat at ease.

Ash: "Don't worry Paul, you may have been acting like the meanest person on the planet, literally, but I get the idea. Plus, I know of a certain gym leader in your home city in the Sinnoh region that likes you." he said then finished with a thought in his head as he wanted Paul to find out for himself that someone likes him. Then, Lance spoke up

Lance: "Excellent idea Paul! You three would be the bait luring Giovanni and the grunts into our grasp! Well, all we need now is something to film the so-called betrayal scene. Does anyone have a holocaster or X-Transceiver that we can use to do so?"

Gary: "I got one. I hope this works." he said while pulling his X-Transceiver out and handing it to Lance. Then, Lance turned it on, got ready to record and everyone reviewed their "script" for the scene they'll be playing out.

Lance: "Alright, Tobias, Paul, the 4 former Rockets will be outside by the house listening in then walk into the house, I hope you got plain clothes with you as if anyone sees you in your TR uniforms, you are officially dead. Ash you'll walk in, then everyone else will give Ash glares the second you see him. Then after Ash says "What's going on?" The rest of you will say something along the lines of 'WE WANT YOU OUT OF OUR LIVES FOR ETERNITY! WE'RE EMBARRASSED TO EVEN KNOW YOU! GET THE FUCK OUT OF OUR SIGHT OR WE WILL KILL YOU THIS FUCKING INSTANT!' I know that's rather extremist but it's to help the scene at hand make believing ash turns to pure evil to seek revenge. Paul, Tobias, Jessie, James, Meowth and Domino will then come in to retrieve Ash, then bring him into Team Rocket HQ and have him become a member. Your roles will be helping him retrieve the evidence to streamline the trial/conviction of Giovanni, free the Pokemon that are being held captive and assist in the takedown of the TR admins. You have been granted permission to kill them if need be arises by myself and the higher ups. Same goes for Giovanni when you go up against him. Alright, I'll give you a few minutes to memorize your roles, then we'll film the scene. I'll keep an eye on all 7 of you from here during the mission." he explained while trying to depict the scene while going over the plan.

After a few minutes, everyone said they were ready, then they got into their positions and Lance got ready to film the scene.

Lance: "Betrayal of Ash scene 1, take 1 in 3, 2, 1, action!" then he starts filming focusing the

Ash opens the door as per his role with Pikachu on his shoulder, walks in and sees several of his friends, even his own mother giving him an extremely furious glare like they're gonna bludgeon him to death

Ash: "Is something the matter?"

Gary: "SHUT UP YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT!" he angrily shouted

Leaf: "We've seen your performance in the previous leagues and we want you out of your lives for eternity this instant!" everyone nodded in agreement

Ash: "AFTER ALL I'VE DONE FOR YOU?! I've saved your asses/the world several times, helped all of you out with your careers and other stuff and this is how you fucking repay me?! Some friends you are! I'll be gone, but when I come back I'll be coming for your heads!"

Pikachu: "PIKACHU PIKAPI CHU PIKA! PI KA CHU PIPI" Pikachu yelled at them, translated (I thought you were his friends! Turns out you only used him, we hope you die!"

Everyone (except Lance who's filming the scene): "JUST GET THE FUCK OUT OF OUR SIGHT BEFORE WE KILL YOU! GOOD RIDDANCE!"

With that, Ash left in fake tears, went to retrieve the rest of his Pokemon. However, Paul called out to him to try and comfort him. Behind him were Tobias and the ex-Rockets.

Paul: "Ash, I'm sorry for what happened to you at the house. I didn't know they would turn their back on you, even your own mother." Tobias and the others nodded their heads in agreement

Ash: "Don't be, they'll be losing their heads when I return for revenge."

Meanwhile Lance came out with the others behind them he stops recording the scene

Lance: "And we're clear. All of you did well in your roles. Nice job Ash and everyone. The footage I have here along with your past accomplishments will help in getting you recruited into the higher ranks without having toi go through the lower ranks." everyone nodded saying thanks ands agreeing with his statement

Ash: "Well, let's get to bed and rest up. We'll set out in the morning and begin the take down of TR and Giovanni. Luckily we have leads that'll help pinpoint main base"

Everyone: "agreed" With that, everyone got ready to go to sleep for the night, everyone slept either in their sleeping bags on the floor, in Ash's room or the guest room. Most were picturing the scenario they were getting into while they were falling asleep. One thing was sure, Team Rocket was going down along with every last criminal still on the loose. The Pokemon, G-Men and other trainers/people had evil smiles on their faces. It was gonna be a good week.

Well, that's the 1st chapter of my back fic. I hope I wrote it out well enough to make it interesting to you guys. Also, that betrayal scene you just saw is make believe, they didn't truly betray Ash as this is a supplement to my main fic, but a supplement to the main story. Review, PM me any ideas for this story like which of Ash's old Pokemon to bring into either the main story, or back story. No flaming this fic or my main fic!
