Talon walked across the burning plains of the the arena for the final battle for Urth.
He had taken down Sauron, Blizzard, and Chaos so far. That leaves Deablo, Armadon, and...
"...Vertigo" he said to himself, he looked up at the sky and pondered about the Female Serpent/Dino. He was conflicted about her. What will he do when he faces her again? And what will be the results. All of their encounters with one another have been so... "unique" to the point where he is questioning what he's truly fighting for.

(Flashback)
The two Dinos looked at each other, waiting for the first move to be made. Talon growled at vertigo, looking her dead in the eye intensively, expecting her to start the battle. Instead, she Gave him a seductive grin and then started to giggle. "What in the hell is so funny to you?" Talon questioned.
"I knew that I was fighting another Goody-two shoes like dino... I just didn't know that he would be soo... Cute~" She put a flavorable tone on the closing segments of the statement.
Talon was taken by suprise. He didn't expect that type of response. "S-shut the hell up" he studderd, his face blushing. The Serpintine Giggled some more then casually starts to advance towards him. Talon couldn't move his muscles, it was like he was in a trance. Vertigo Giggled more, "What's the matter~, I'm open for attack... Or maybe, you don't want to fight me~"
Vertigo was now standing right in front of the raptor, Talon was looking deeply into her Controling gaze. She traced his cheek gently with her left index finger/claw, She began to wisper to him "here's a Pro tip for ya, Big Boy~: Don't look a Cobra in her eyes... They're hard to look away from, and you might find them to be..." She arch's her head down, looking down at him, and places a Light kiss on his cheek and whispers the rest of her statement into his ear, "... Quite 'Hypnotizing'~".
Talons blush was Cherry red at this point. Vertigo then continued to Kiss the Tranced Raptor, Moving from his cheek to his Muzzle, to his lips.
Due to the trance, Talon was obeying every psychic command that was being given to him. When Vertigo's kissing reached his lips, he unwillingly started to kiss back. He felt her tongue slithering into his mouth, relentlessly wrestling his own tongue.
Talon felt embarrassed, he was unwillingly making out with the Godess of insanity. What was even more embarrassing was that he was liking it.
After a while, the two broke the kiss. Vertigo looked pleased by Talons manipulated efforts. "My my~ your not half bad... I think I can have some use for you, and maybe even more." Vertigo then started to kiss down his neck, she then gently bit him with her sharp fangs, it was hard enough to be visible, but not hard enough to draw blood.
Talon felt this and began to worry, "I see that look, don't fret you silly raptor, it was merely a dry-bite." Vertigo giggled. "Think of it as a invitation and permanent pass to Stonehedge, Just show my worshippers it and they'll let you in", Talon snarled, "And what makes you think I'll take that offer?"
Vertigo gave him a mischievous grin, "I don't think you will... I know you will... I'll be waiting, don't dissapoint me"
Vertigo then let go of Talon and took her leave, leaving the young dino to ponder on what just happened.
Her words echo through his head. 'Who in the hell dose she think she is?!... And, Why do I suddenly feel so "warm" inside now every time I think about her in general...' He thought.

Time went on, and Talon now finds himself Frequently visiting the Stonehedge, he almost always found Vertigo sitting there looking at the sunset, Talon can obviously see that she is open for him to attack her and take her by surprise, yet he didn't. He had no idea why, but he always found himself joining her in seeing the sunset and/or sunrise. They always started to talk to eachother. Talon was conflicted, He kept on pondering about why he keeps on pursuing her. he could just stop, yet he doesn't. He kept going there by his own free will and dosnt know why.

"so... This is what it's like to see the sun go down" Talon said.
"hehehe~, do you like it?" Giggled vertigo. "Yea... It's beautiful" he said
he looked at her and smiled, she looked beautiful in the sunset, her cyan scales glowed majesticly in its light. He noticed she was looking back, he oddly noticed that she was smiling and blushing at him. She looked cute, almost like she was a completely different than what she was known for.
he kinda liked how this cute personality was inside of what he thought to be a cold heartless shell of a goddess...

(a few months later)
"You just can't resist visiting me, can you?~" Vertigo laughed. "S-shut up, I'm not visiting you for the sake of conversation!" Talon Nervously claimed. The serpent giggled, "Talon... Quit lying to yourself, this is the 10th time you've visited me this month alone, and you've been seeing me for 6 and 1/2 months" She Countered, she leaned her head towards the young dino and pecked him and On the cheek with a light kiss. Talons Face lit up with red when he felt the tip of her lips make contact with his cheek bone.
"Admit it, Talon, you Fancy me, don't you?" Talon was taken aback by this question, "what!? No!... I just...", Vertigo looked into his eyes with serious intent, "'you Just...' What exactly?"
Talon shakes his head, "I don't know, Vertigo, ever since I started meeting up with you here... I've been feeling "Strange" about my actions as of late... Who in the hell am I kidding, I doubt you would understand, your the Fucking goddess of insanity."
Vertigo Gimaced at his comment, "I may be the goddess of insanity, but that dosnt mean Im emotionless like a machine. Just tell me, you stubborn raptor".
"I-I don't know, I can't even make a clear representation of what this feeling is myself, please, just drop it" Talon retorted. Vertigo sighed with frustration, "Fine... But your going to have to give me a strait answer sooner of later, weather you like it not."
"H-hey! I'm just confused, alright, don't go off blaming me!" Talon retorted. Vertigo gave him a scowl, "Ok then... How about this, I get an answer before this war ends! If not, I'll hunt you to the edge of this godforsaken planet! I bet that will give your currently half-ass focused mind more than enough time to stop being confused". The Serpent turns and makes her leave, leaving Talon to ponder to himself under the sunset after her sudden outburst.
(End flashbacks)

"S-so... You've managed to survive so far... Hehe, well... At least you live up to your title." A voice weakly stated. Talon turned to see a shocking sight, he saw Armadon stuck to a stone wall by a boulder. He saw him coughing out blood. "Unfortunately, I'm going to probable fade back into the heavens until the next war." He coughed. "What... What the hell happened to you!?" Exclaimed Talon. "Deablo is what happened... I was... Pursuing the serpent, and he interfered and took me by Suprise... Looks like it's just you and them left... Talon, do me a favor" He continued. "Kill, Deablo... If he lives, this world will become an eternal world of hellfire... He must not win...". Talon heard those last words before seeing the dead guardian dissapear in a crimson flame. He bowed and gave his respects to the honorable dino.
"...wait! He said that Vertigo was here!? Then that would mean... Oh no" he exclaimed. The raptor bolted down in the direction to the center of the final arena. He prayed he wasn't to late. He heard the sounds of combat as he got closer.

When he reached the center, he came upon a shocking sight. Vertigo was laying on the ground, bleeding heavily, barely moving. He looked around for anyone else, but his search was fruitless. He then rushed to her aid.
"Vertigo!" Talon yelled in worry as he approched her. "Ta..lon?..." She replied weakly.
He kneeled down to her and pulled her into a protective hug. "It's ok, your safe for now" he reassured her. "It hurts... It hurts a lot... That fucking... Bastard, Deablo..." She said, wincing in pain. Talon nuzzled her lovingly, his heart was in an abyss of shock and worry. Somthing was driving him to be with her, something in him was wanting to protect her. He pulled her body close to his own, she felt cold, "It's ok, I'm here now". "I'm... Feeling tired..." She said. Vertigo closed her eyes and placed her head onto Talon's chest. He looked down on her, her wounds made up of claw scratches and bites were deep, but she would live. But still, The way she was attacked, brutally beaten and battered and nearly killed, she was left to die. the way his heart sank when seeing her in this state was unbearable.
he started to feel rage and hatred build up in him. All of it directed at Deablo. He wanted to make him suffer for what he did, for all that he has done, for the pain he inflicted upon Vertigo.
He stroked her head and neck with his claw. Tears started to form I his eyes, he looked down on the floor and saw a broken charm. It was a thread of very light blue seashells, the center of the charm was a pendant, it was a shining cyan and the center held a bright red Ruby. The charm was broken, but it was still recognizable.

"Ok... Open your eyes"
"...!?"
"hehehe~, do you like it?"
"I-it's amazing... Is that a ruby?"
"yes it is..."
"Thank you Talon... This is a beautiful gift"
"I thought you would like some kind of accessory to ware... It's nothing special"

he hugged Vertigo more snugly because of the thought. Her smile that day warmed his heart. She wore it this whole time, that meant something to him deeply.
"well... Who would have known that the runt would come to me" a deep voice stated.
Talon snaped back into reality as he heard a familiar smug voice, his face went into an emotionless state upon realizing who the speaker was. "...Deablo..." He confirmed bluntly, no emotion could be heard from his voice.
"Hmm? Why are you so pale... I Expected more from the God of survival..." Said The red and black Tyranasaurus. Talon didn't reply, he continued to hold Vertigo's still sleeping body close to his chest. "...hey, Runt! Are you even listening to me!?... How about you just drop that pethetic worthless Bitch and fight me already!" Yelled the destructive God. That statement he made pulled Talon out of his voided trance. "What the fuck did you just say about her?..." He asked in a somber shaky voice. Deablo gave a look of confusion, "... What? You suddenly now give a damn about what that she-devil is being called!? She's the goddess of insanity, she dosnt deserve kind treatment, that psycotic whore got what she deserv-" Talon cuts him off mid sentience, "Shut the hell up..." He mumbled, a strange black aura of some sort started to barely outline around him, it was hard to see but it was still there. "Hmm? What was that..." Asked Deablo.
Talon looked down upon Vertigo and leaned in and placed a kiss on her forhead, he then placed her down gently. "I said... To shut your fucking Trap before I tear out your damn vocal cords!" he threatend.
Deablo gives a hint of self-cofidence as he replies, "What... You think you can beat me!? Ha! Not even that little weak bitch of a Goddess stood a chance ag-", "Leave her the fuck out of this! You Heartless peice of Shit!" Roared Talon as he turned to the dino and gave him a look of Killing intent. The dark aura surrounding him became more visible.
Vertigo started to awaken, she looked up at Talon and was shocked by what she saw. Talons scales had started to turn illuminate a scarlet red and the aura around him was raging in a mix of Red And black.
"Don't you dare even talk about her, you don't even know her!... She has more of a life worth living than you do you cold empty bastard!... It's sickening and disgusting to me that you talk like you know everything about her! You don't know jack shit about her!... You don't know her like I do, she's kind, cute, and even caring. Tell me this, asshole, if she is what you insultingly say she is, then why dose she have "Heart"!?" His voice bacame dark.
Vertigo was taken aback by how Talon was standing up for her. He was caring for her, she was at a loss of words upon hearing how he feels for her.
"I've always wondered why I felt the constant need to be by her side... Why I felt joyful when felt her presence... It's something I cherish... I felt a place for her in my heart... Now, I finally know why... I Love her... That is why, I'm going make you fucking suffer for what you've done!" He snapped.

Vertigo felt her heart skip a beat... Talon admitted his love for her. 'Talon... I...' She thought to herself, she was at a loss of words. What shocked her more was that he is so willing to temporally give in to primal instincts and kill just to keep her safe.
She watched the two Dinos fight, each showing no mercy. Talon was gaining the upperhand in speed. He was delivering quick and powerful blows to Deablo's body. "W-what the hell are you?" Winced Deablo. Talon's vioce sounded slightly distorted due to his temporary dark and red aura surrounding him, "I'm not even sure myself at the moment, but I don't care, I won't let you hurt her, I'll make sure you won't" he stated darkly.
Talon then peirces him with his claw through his chest, he then wispered into his ear "Die... You degenerate son of a bitch". Talon then Riped out the opposing Dino's heart. Deablo colapsed onto the floor, dead, with his eyes wide in shock.
the aura around Talon dissapeared, he turned to only receive the shock of seeing Vertigo witnessing what he had done. She stood up and aproched him cautiously. Talon looked away from her in shame, "I-I'm sorry you had to see that" he said. He felt her claw trace his cheek, he looked back at her. Her eyes shining a emerald green, she looked calm. She then lightly pulled his head toward her and leaned into him, placing a kiss on his lips. It was a long gentle kiss, Talon felt no urge to resist it. They then broke the kiss as vertigo started to reply, "...Don't be... You don't need to be ashamed... Because, I love you too... Thank you".
They embraced, Talon felt her now warm body. They saw a light rising in the horrizon, it was the sun. The looked at it. "So... I take it that its over now?" Talon stated. "Yes... We won the Primal Rage tornoment, we are now the rulers of Urth." Vertigo confirmed.
Talon looked at Vertigo and nuzzled her lovingly, "...then, shall we depart from this field, my lovely Queen?~" he joked. "Hehehe~, stop it Talon, your making me blush" Vertigo playfuly complained. they kissed for a while, Talon gave his cute Mistress a smile "I love you Vertigo...", "I love you to Talon..." Vertigo replied. They looked bak to the sunrise. They were together now, and they didn't want it to be any different"
