This is just a prologue to a hopefully long story.
It's up to you if I continue or not. This is my first story on here so I'm kind of nervous about it.
So review and tell me if I should continue!
Prologue: 12:00 am.
It was 12:00 am when a mysterious girl stepped foot in Karakura Town with one intention.
It was then that Ichigo Kurosaki woke from his strange dream, sweating and breathing hard.
"What the hell?" he gasped as the images flowed through his head again. He shook his head, confused at why he was dreaming about a girl he's never seen before in his life.
To his left, the closet door slid open revealing a raven-haired girl with large, indigo eyes.
"Ichigo?" she asked quietly. "What's wrong?"
He shook his head again. "Nothing" he lied. "Just a bad dream."
Rukia nodded and slid the door shut again. Ichigo lay down in his bed and stared up at the ceiling. Who was that? He wondered. And why was I dreaming about her?
She was cute, he thought. She was around his age and had long, black hair with one streak of green in it. But in the dream, she was running away from someone, or something. Tears were streaming down her cheeks. Then something reached out and grabbed her ankle. She gasped and fell, hard. She looked up at her pursuer and screamed as they grabbed her. That was when Ichigo woke up.
He didn't know why but he felt like the dream was important. He felt like she was important.
Ichigo sighed when he knew that he was not going to get to sleep again. He glanced at the digital clock on his bedside table. 12:01 am. Great. He had about six hours until he had to really get up for school. Now all he had to do was wait.
In another part of Karakura Town a new guest was registering for a room in the small hotel not too far from Karakura High.
"Okay, here's your room key. Room 8, right down that hallway." An older woman told the girl. "I'm really glad you decided to stay here. We don't get many guests here anymore."
"Oh, I don't see why. This place is very lovely." The girl looked around the small lobby. Honestly she only needed a cheap place to stay for awhile but she wasn't going to tell the nice woman that.
"Why, thank you very much."
The girl smiled and nodded. Then she picked up her small bag of luggage and started for her room, desperate for some sleep.
"Oh, I didn't catch your name sweetie!"
The girl turned to look at the woman and smiled sweetly.
"It's Chikara. Chikara Yami. But call me Kara."
I know it's short but I wanted to see everyone's reaction before I put a lot of work into it.
So please, please review and tell me what you think!
