Amara has trouble talking about losing Michelle to Alister, and instead writes her feelings in a poem. Could either be taken as lover or cousin, no specifics.

Lost

I've lost someone very close to me,

And now I'm lost.

What's it like to lose somebody?

A friend?

A brother?

A cousin?
A lover?

Whichever one you lose,

There will always be,

An empty feeling,

Inside of you.

I have now experience the feeling of loss,

And let me tell you,

It doesn't feel good.
