Words.
They are everything, the actions do not matter and neither does the emotion behind them. Anyone can lie with words and that is why I like them. Honesty is overrated and, in truth, it's a useless thing to have. But with words, with those simple little syllables, you can change the whole world.
One simple speech, and the world will fall to it's knees before you.
One simple promise, and the world will fall to it's knees before you.
One simple story about a man walking on water, and the world will fall to it's knees before you.
And, three simple worlds and I will fall to my knees before you.
Anyone can lie, anyone can deceive, and we can't judge them with grimaces and glares…they make us happy…without them we wouldn't make it through the day. We need them. I need them.
…
I'm wrong…I said the world revolved around words--it doesn't. It revolves around lies.
And he stares, momentarily, and what he wrote…thinking over what it means and what it says about him. With a simple push of one key it is erased and he re-writes a simple lie about economics and how the world is utterly based on that and how nothing else matters.
