"Are you sure you want to go through with this?" Pi asked as she slipped on her fighting gloves. Haseo unsheathed his two golden blades and exclaimed, "Of course I'm sure! BRING IT ON!!" A faint smirk formed on Pi's lips as she said, "All right, but I won't be held responsible for what happens to you, my dear…"
Haseo ran at Pi with an amazing burst of speed. "YYAAHHH!!!" Haseo swung, but his attack was stopped midway when it connected against Pi's elbow. Pi grinned and slammed her knee into Haseo's chest, knocking the silver-haired Adept Rogue a few feet away.
Haseo still had a smile on his face as he clutched his chest in pain and said, "Nice one. Your whole body could be used as a shield…" "Of course," Pi replied matter-of-factly, "I need to be strong to protect both myself and my allies!" Haseo picked himself off the ground and charged at Pi once again.
This time, however, Haseo was trying a different strategy. As soon as Pi was in range, he skidded towards her and then blasted forward again by activating a skill trigger. The moment his blade pierced into Pi's stomach, Haseo knew he had made the hit. "TWIN MOONS!" Pi let out a scream of pain as Haseo's blade slashed her around and sent her flying across the field.
Pi grabbed onto the grass and stopped herself from going any further back by skidding against the ground. Pi brushed some dirt and grass off and remarked, "You're not bad, Haseo. I thought I almost lost there for a second…" Haseo chuckled a bit and exclaimed, "Please! If you hadn't stopped yourself when you did, you would have been done for the count!"
Suddenly, Haseo found himself face-first in the dirt with Pi sitting on top of him with a victorious look on her face. Haseo lifted his head out of the dirt and shouted, "WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED?!" Pi pushed his head back in the dirt and replied, "I had activated several speed charms at once and hit you with a skill trigger! Pretty simple stuff, really…"
Haseo let out a grunt. Pi helped Haseo off the ground and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Same time tomorrow, then?" She asked as she cleaned off her glasses. "Actually," Haseo replied as he wrapped his arms around Pi's waist and kissed her, "I'll see you tonight…" Pi's cheeks were still glowing red when they returned to Mac Anu and logged off so they could rest up for tonight…
