A/N: Hey, guys! Miss me? Yeah, I've been pretty busy with school and being lazy and working on my novel. However, I recently got bundles of fic ideas, so I hope to update more and write more.

Contains: Gelus/Misa, Rem/Misa, L/Misa, and Matsuda/Misa.

To know her is to love her.

They all know this fact only too well. After all, they were the ones who fell victim to her charms, it was their hearts that she held in her delicate, beautiful hands. Misa Amane.

She had the personality, the sweet self that could attract anyone. She had the pure heart that was big enough to love the idea of a world that could never exist and to love the man who promised her that it would. She loved him, the one man who could never see what it was about her that made her so easy to love, the one who could never love her.

Gelus could die without regrets- he died for her and she could live on. From the moment he saw her, he knew she was different from the other humans. He could her pure heartedness, something that most he saw didn't possess, couldn't understand. She was a beam of light, as pathetic as that sounds, in his lonely, dark world. Yes, it was okay for him to die for her.

Rem could see what he could see as well. She had never been that moved by those human emotions, but seeing her…friend, for lack of better word, fall in love with someone caused something to change in her mind. She knew that this girl, this Misa, was most definitely different from the other disgusting humans. What she was doing at first just to honor Gelus became something entirely selfish, for she too had fallen in love.

Lawliet knew how it felt to love the girl who had found her way into his secluded life. It must have been the difficulty of the case making him do crazy things such as letting other people into his otherwise empty world. That was the only explanation for how he could have let himself get so close to a suspect, one that annoyed him to no end and was in love with his sworn enemy. He still didn't regret having feelings for her.

Matsuda had always loved the idea of fame. Even as an adult, the thoughts that filled his head when he was younger remained. It would be wonderful to be famous and those who were, no matter what for, were someone to idolize. Getting to meet and even work for the Misa Misa was a dream come true for him, even before he realized that he had fallen in love with her. And after that, he would have given anything to be the one she loved rather than him, but because he knew that could never happen, he was one of their biggest supporters.

They all four knew her, loved her, and sacrificed something for her. For Gelus and Rem, it was their lives. For Lawliet, it was somewhere between his life and the chance at solving the most complex murder cases of all time, which would have no doubt been a huge accomplishment. For Matsuda, it was a heart that could be used for so much more, for loving Sayu more than he did, for making someone who could really love him happy.

To know her is to love her. If only she could have seen herself through their eyes, maybe she'd still be alive now.

A/N: I don't even know what that was or where it came from. I just wanted to write some fanfiction and this was one of the first ideas that popped in my head.
