Murdoch Mysteries – A Gemily Story
Young Constable Crabtree was sifting through some files for the Detective, when he saw her. Doctor Emily Grace, the new coroner in town. She saw him staring, causing both to blush before she started to walk toward him. George stood up to introduce himself to her, but in his haste he knocked over all the files. The commotion brought Detective Murdoch out of his office.
"Ah, Dr. Grace you made it, welcome to Toronto. George, what happened?" "Sorry sir, I was distracted and knocked over all the files." "Well, clean it up, while I show Dr. Grace around." "Sir, if it's alright with you, I can show the Doctor around." "Well Doctor Grace, is that alright with you?" Said the detective as he turned to ask her. "I would love that very much". With that George began their tour of the city.
As they strolled out of Station House number four and onto the main street, George showed her all of the shops and introduced her to many of the town folk. They had just finished meeting old Ms. Lachlan. She was delightful, laughed . George's cheeks still red from embarrassment said, "Why she asked if the dashing George Crabtree had finally found a girl." "Well I for one loved the little old lady", giggled the doctor. "Should we continue our tour ?" "Please call me Emily" "Well then Emily, call me George."
