Finding Love in Odd Places

Prologue
Holly Johnson
Journal Entry: August 14th, 2000
My name is Holly Johnson... I guess my life is not normal as some - my father hates me... because I was born as a girl and not a boy, like he wanted. He even blamed my mother for it, he beat her and yelled all the time. But when she died... he started to abuse me, saying that it was fault that mother died; he tells me that I'm too skinny and I'm ugly... that no one would ever love or care about me. I use to cry in my room every night, but I soon stopped because if he found me crying he would hit me until I passed out. I'm fifteen now, and I try to cover my bruises with a long turtle neck shirts, long skirts or pants. I try to keep my head in my books and study hard and forget that he is even there, but I can't... maybe with this new school that I'm going to will make some changes for me...

Holly closed her Journal and stuffed it under her bed, making sure that her father wouldn't find it. She sighed as she closed her jade-green eyes. She knew that she should of reported her father a long time ago... but she was too afraid to do so. She wished that someone would save her from her hateful father. She reopened her eyes and stood up from her bed and walked over to her window and looked through her window, looking at the night sky. She stared at the stars and then saw a shooting star.
"A shooting star..."
She clasped her hands together and closed her eyes. ' Please... someone please save me - anyone. ' she thought as she wished with her whole heart. What she didn't know that her wish would come true... and it would be out of this world!

Super short prologue ^_^; This story was actually suppose to be a Yugioh story... but I thought I would make it a Predator story instead :)
