Relena picked up the phone and pressed memory five. It rang a few times, and a girl picked up.
"Hi, is Sally there?"
"This is she. Relena!"
"Yup!"
"So what's the story?"
"Ok. So, you know how 3 weeks I told you about Wufei? The boy that asked me to the prom? Yeah, him. Anyway, he has and adorable brother… and a girlfriend."
"What is his brothers name?"
"His name? Oh, his name is Heero. As soon as I found out that he has a girlfriend, I told her and she is all like, 'oh that's why he can't go to prom with me.' Then I told him that I did not feel like going to prom after all. Then he got all pissy and told me to suck it and I said no it might taste bad and he is all like pissed and he still is. But that's ok, because his older brother came to my house when I was all upset and we talked… well actually he asked me what was wrong and I complained to him about not having a date and he said he would go with me to the prom… Oh yeah! So he asked me to the prom and I told him sorry I can't go and he's all why so I told him about mom…"
"What's wrong with your mom?"
"She is a bit over protective of me… and anyway he's all is she home now and I said yeah but she has guests. And he's well then you can meet my mom and dad. So I went with him to his house and there was Wufei, all like, with a look that's all 'oh. My. God.' It was so funny. Then they were all like glaring at each other, and Heero is all come on Relena, lets go meet my parents. And Wufei was just sitting there, looking like I had smacked him or something. Oh yeah his parents were sweet! Like, hi sweetie, how are you? And I just smiled and one thing came to another and I was calling home saying I had a date to the prom and that I was gonna have dinner with his parents. Moms all like do you think you could spend the night at Hilde's house? Your dad is drunk again…"
"Huh?!"
"Yeah he gets drunk every now and then and comes home and beats us… wait! Oh… I said too much…"
"You should report that!"
"Yeah I guess I should report it… Any way I guess I must have looked upset 'cause he asked my what was wrong and I let it slip about dad beating us, and he told me that if dad even lay one finger across my hair, he would come after him with a baseball bat. So I went to Hilde's. Ohmigod they live next door to each other! Anyways, dad came swaggering over and hit me and told me to go home, so I did! I ran home, grabbed the phone and made two calls, one to the police and I told Heero what just happened. He was pissed!"
"Did he beat your dad up?"
"No, there wasn't enough time. The police got there first. He didn't get the chance. Pity too. hey sally? I have to go. Heero's here to get me."
"See ya later girl! Have fun!"
"Bye sista!"
"Bye Relena!"
