pI DO NOT OWN YU-GI-OH! For all those who don't know, Amane is Ryou's
sister, who died in a car crash. She is mentioned in the manga, but has no
picture, so I made her appearance up. I haven't read the manga, I got this
information from friends, and so I may have some wrong information. Bear
with me. Oh, and the title is Japanese, its lame, and you'll have to
translate it for yourself
pRyou sat at his desk, the final word of tonight's homework finished. He
wearily lifted himself from the wooden chair and clicked off the lamp,
bathing the room in darkness. He stumbled toward the bed, tripping over a
few things and slipping on scattered duel monster cards. Upon reaching the
end of the room, he let himself fall onto his unmade bed, rejoicing at the
comfort and longing for rest. He yawned, and drifted off into sleep.
pAmane bobbed up and down to the fast music. Her strait silver hair twirled about. The pale brown freckled that dotted her ivory face were blurred with the movement of her head, and her brown eyes were closed, absorbing the beat of the music. Her black clothing was tight on her thin frame, and she laughed, thinking how much Ryou would hate this concert. The band finally ended their last note, and she joined the crowd of people heading toward the exit. She brawled into her old used car, the one that she had given a name. The name was Ten-kih Ho-shih, meaning weathered star. She inserted the key into the ignition and drove off, humming the song still stuck in my head.
pThe road was wet and slippery, causing the car to occasionally lose its grip on the asphalt. She concentrated on the blackness ahead of her, trying not to break her sight. Suddenly, the tired slipped out from above the road, and she desperately turned the wheel the o0ther direction to avoid slipping more so, but that only turned the car into a spin. A beetle crashed into her full force, and her head smashed against the windshield, blood gushing from the injury in her skull. A horrific crunch filler Amane's ears as her leg collapsed against the dashboard when another vehicle smashed into her headfirst. She struggled for breath for a second, and then passed out.
pRyou leaned against the wall, his silver hair shadowing his brown eyes. He was dressed in a tux, all black, and was looking no one in the eye. His ivory skin was paler than usual, and his hands were tucked in his pockets. Across the room, Amane lay in a coffin; her chestnut eyes closed forever, her pearly hair lying below her. She was dressed in a black spaghetti strap dress that reached her knees. Surrounding her were bowls of water lilies and snapdragons. The house was silent and Ryou, desperate to escape the deadening stillness, climbed up to his room. His chocolate eyes filled with tears. He fell on the bed, his room now neatly cleaned, his bed draped in a black comforter. Slowly, he slipped into a fitful sleep.
pRyou cried out in his sleep, a horror of a dream awakening from his slumber. His brow was covered in sweat, and his suit was wrinkly from when he had slept in it. He attempted to fall back to sleep, but memories flooded him and stopped him from even getting a week. Giving up, he climbed up from his bed and sat at his desk, and picked up his favorite pen, black, with the Kanji Symbol for Innocence in it. He placed it against a piece of blank paper, and wrote Amane's name at the top. He scribbled, writing, not even thinking about what he was writing. At the bottom he wrote 'Love, Ryou', and placed the pen down. He took out his lighter, and alighted a single unburnt black candle. He held the tip of the letter to the flame, letting it lick the bottom of the page, and slowly spread over it, turning it to ashes, in a final tribute To Amane.
