Saiyuki Reload Gunlock: Farewell (Goku's POV) "Non yaoi"
We stood before Hazel's and Gato's grave. Hazel was actually a monster who killed his own master, had pleaded Sanzo to take his life. He was a cursed man who was so cruel to monsters that the monster that put a curse on him to make him something he hated. A monster. Without Gato's spirit, he would have killed more innocent lives through his monster form. Even though I hated Hazel, I felt sorry for everything that he had done. He was a pitiful creature that has lost his path, reviving dead humans from the soul of the youkais he killed. He didn't know that the master whom he loved so much was killed by him. After Gato's death, the spirit died and so, the true form of Hazel appeared.
After we defeat Hazel, we were healed by Yaone's medicine. Kougajii said that this medicine of Yaone would cure the poison from Hazel's wings. This is actually the repay of Kougajii that we have awaken his senses from some dude's experiments. As we stood in front of the tomb, Ririn was crying for no reason. Even though she hated Hazel just as much as anyone of us, tears rolled down her cheeks becayse she said Hazel was lonely. I understand how Hazel feel, about being alone. I myself have been alone for a long time until Sanzo came and freed me. I don't know whether I should hate Hazel for what he had done, or should I feel pity for him. His hatred destroyed him, turned him into something he hated. Now, when his last breathe was taken, he understand that youkais and humans are the same. We are no different.
Kougajii-ikkou left, and four of us was left there, staring at his tomb.
"He was not a human and not a youkai…" Gojyo said.
"He was none. He was being himself…" Sanzo said, "There are no differences…"
I looked back and smiled when Sanzo said those words. I was happy to hear those words from Sanzo, even though he said that we are disgusting, he finally accepts that we are the same.
"Let's go," Sanzo said, "To the west…"
We ran toward the jeep and set off for our new journey. I don't know how long it would take for us to reach the west to Gyumaoh's palace, but when we are there, we are sure to meet Kou again. Then whatever happens, we will still continue our mission in stopping the resurrection of Gyuumaoh, in order to bring the days of peace between humans back again. I am not sure if humans would accept it, but I, Son Goku, will do whatever it takes to accomplish our goal. Now, I really need to eat something….
"Sanzo! Haraheta! Haraheta! Haraheta!"
"Urusai, Bakasaru!"
"Domo, hara…heta!"
