Candyflesh
Jareth laughed. He laughed as they held Sarah down, tying her hands and feet to the root of the tree with silver plaited rope. Sarah's body contorted around the tree, trying to find a position in which her bones wouldn't just- SNAP. Jareth laughed like a fanged Cheshire cat, mouth full of needles, but Sarah wasn't about to call him Dana. The soft goblin flesh touched her as they held her down, almost finished with the bonds. And still Jareth laughed. A baby cried in the distance. But the distance was too distant for Sarah to contemplate, her white skin bleeding as splinters cut through the cloth of her clothes. Sarah cried, too out of breath to beg for mercy. Her tears were desperate and dry, and her eyes full of dirt.
Jareth kept that smug grin on his face all the way down. Down to her level, he lowered his face, and his face was all she could see, with those teeth. The needles pierced through her shoulder and there was pain, and no sound of the baby at all. She had to stop the pain, and looked the Goblin King in his mirth full eyes. She writhed as he laughed, and as he kneeled down to steal her a kiss, her own teeth caught him in the nose.
Sarah woke up in her own bed, scared of the dark room. Jareth's flesh tasted like candy.
