Note: I only own Pandora, the rest belong to some rich short guy in japan.
On another subject, I do realise everyones favorite alchemist is not in this chapter. Thats because it is the first chapter. Everything will be pulled together in chapters to come. And when I am done, I hope everyone will be happy with the piece.
NowhereChild...
Pandore, Alchemist of Chaos.
Charlie backed away. Her defense was strong, her opponent had nothing on her. She stood with her hands by her side, one leg a little infonet of the other. This was her basic fighting position. She could not recall a fight where she had not been in this stand at least once. Her nature was to fight, to kill. Exactly what she had been made for. And here she was, in a lowly street fight.
Her Oponent was a rather large man, dark hair? She couldn't make out the color for lack of light. And she didn't even see his eyes. He stood at least six feet tall, and had broad shoulders, from what she could tell in the shadows. She squinted her eyes truing to see him. She couldn't kill a man who's face she hadn't seen first. The true meaning of honor when it came to her. "Step into the lamp light," She yelled across the narrow street. Her voice was strong, showing no fear. She wanted to intimidate him, to make him back away and save her the trouble of taking his insignificant life from him. But he was foolish. He hesitated a moment, then stepped into the dim light of a street lamp.
His arms hung like a guerilla's, almost to his knee. "It seems you work out a lot," She said with a fiendish smile, "You're offal pumped." It was true that any given place on his body was packed with mussels. She could still take him. Then she too stepped forward into the dimm lamplight, beginning the battle.
Her Oponent ran towards her, his fists balled, streaming with energy. It was at this moment Charlie saw the chain at his waist. A state alchemist. She was fighting another one. How? She suddenly realized, in the new turn of events, this would be a battle for her life. If she won, he would die quickly, but if she lost; she would suffer a lifetime of torture for the head of state. It had been a few months scenic she had had to think about it. Her Oponent was nearing her. Throwing his fistful of energy at her, but she calmly lifted her hand and caught his punch. The Alchemist stared into her, confusion written all over his face. She knew. He was wondering how such a small girl could behold such strength, she knew. But she was into it now, she calmly lifted her other hand, holding it palm out, to show him. A look of panic crossed his eyes, she saw it clearly. Only a few seconds later, she had closed in on him, her mouth beside his ear. "You have brown eyes," she whispered softly,
almost romantically. A flash of light came bursting out of her palm, and all she could hear was the mans screaming, then a splatter of blood came flying at her, and he hit the ground. Charlie sighed loudly. They had found her again, that mente it was time to move on. But she had liked this little town.
She looked at the body laying in the road. It was no more then dead weight to her. She had prevailed, she had won the battle. She was Lady Alchemist Pandora.
