A/N: This episode? I cried. So, so much. *hugs Tim forever*

Texas forever.

You could almost kill him for saying that, if it wasn't exactly what you wanted to hear.

At least you had Texas, if only for a little while.

It hurts like hell, letting go of your best friend, but this is his forever, and you get that.

Street deserves the best. There's no doubt in your mind, or anyone's. He's been dealt a few lousy hands of late, and if this is his luck turning, you won't stand in the way. More than that. You'll help him. You're here, aren't you?

Street should have been an NFL pro, inspiring everyone who turned on their television. Street should have had more than a wheelchair, more than twisted hands. Street should have been—but you see him cradle his son in his arms, kiss the chick he's probably going to end up marrying (knowing him), and you know this is what's right for him now.

You smile.

And damn, if it doesn't hurt like hell.
