One day as Starcatcher was soaring through the fluffy clouds above Butterfly Island with her multi-colored butterfly friends, she noticed something moving slowly up and down the beach. This something was quite large and had enormous wings, but she could tell it wasn't a pegasus. She flew closer to investigate.
The thing had a purple body with yellowish-brown wings and brown scales going down its back all the way from the top of its head to the tip of its tail. She recognized it close-up and gasped - it was a dragon.
"But how could that be, dragons only exist in fairy tales," she thought to herself. But this was indeed a dragon and it was moving along the beach.
The dragon suddenly looked up and spotted her; it began to beat its enormous wings and move swiftly towards her. She wasn't sure if she should fly away; she didn't know if there was such a thing as a friendly dragon. But it wasn't breathing fire at her yet, so she stayed where she was and waited.
Once the dragon was close to her, it said, "Hello, my name is Legend and who are you?"
"I am Starcatcher and this is my home, Butterfly Island," she replied.
"I don't know how I got here," he answered, "I got lost in the fog somehow and ended up here."
"Well, I'm not sure how to help you find your way home, but you may feel free to stay here for as long as you want," she offered.
"Thank you," he replied. "Is there a nice mountain here for me to make my home?"
"Yes," she said pointing up to a mountain in the distance.
"Thank you once again," he replied as he flew off towards the tall mountain in the distance.
