Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto.

Note: This is a crack pairing and I know this is one of the oddest ones there is but oh well, you chose to read it. It's not all facts; I did make some stuff up so that it would fit in with the story.

This is my first attempt at a Kank/Hina

This is the second story of my 30fics in 30days.

Eyes,

Kankuro had first seen her during the exams; she had caught his eye immediately.

He wasn't sure what it was but he knew it had something to do with her eyes, and while her cousin had similar eyes to her, hers were breath-taking beautiful.

He watched her put everything into the fight, he watched her from behind his purple make-up markings and his long dark robe, he had to mask his concern every time she got hit.

He had to stop himself from even whispering at her to stay down before she gets herself killed, but he couldn't do that, not in front of Gaara.

Her purple and white jacket stained with her blood, her dark pants ripped beyond mending, and her body giving out. He wanted to see if she was ok, but he couldn't show weakness to a village he was about to help destroy, it was just like rubbing salt in the deep wound.

He had forfeited his match in the 'real show', and he felt a little at peace; he too lost his match, just like the pale eyed girl, only he had given up while she had fought to win.

He could see her in the stands, no one could miss blue indigo hair like hers, he watched her cough and then being taken away once more. He wondered if she would ever get well, or would she stay weak?

His purple lips made a frown as he watched the battle going on below, the girl's cousin and the blonde fool were fighting and the blonde kid was losing.

Kankuro couldn't help a sickening grin appear when he saw the pale eyed boy get beaten by the dumb ass; he enjoyed how much it must've hurt his pride.

Still even after many years, and many pale eyed girls, he returned to the village he once help to almost destroy when he saw her.

She was wearing a medical robe and helping that pink haired friend of hers, he could help but smile at how…happy she seemed. He'll leave the village and only return when he was needed but he wasn't planning on being the one to drag her from her happy life.

And while he may not see her for a while her pale lavender eyes will always be shining in his mind, he doubts he'll ever rid of them.

Little did he know that Hinata had always wondered about that man with the purple face markings and why he haunted her dreams.

End of drabble, written by Jessica.

As I said before I changed some things to make it fit in with the story.
