Chelsey Rae stared at her college books and notes scattered all over her desk, sighing deeply. I need coffee. She threw her tan colored bag over her shoulder, turned off her lights and grabbed her car keys. She hopped in her car and headed over to her favorite coffee shop, Cafe Virtuoso. It was only seven in the morning, but her classes started at eleven and she forgot to do her homework the night before.

When she got to the shop, she parked and went in. As always she ordered the Mocca Java Blend. She sat in the corner of the shop and took in the essence of the coffee.

What am I doing? I don't want this. I want to travel. I don't want to be stuck in an office for the rest of my life. She always thought too much when she sat in the cafe. She stood up, cup still half full, and left the shop, consumed by the sudden overwhelming thoughts.

She walked slowly to the park only a few blocks away. As she was walking she looked at her coffee, and then down to her feet, then back at the coffee. Before she knew it she ran into someone and spilled the drink all over the stranger.

"Oh gosh! I'm so sor-" She started wiping his shirt with her sleeve as she looked up. "V-vic? Vic Fuentes?"

"Yeah haha, that's me."

"Geez I'm so so sorry, here let me buy you a coffee." She instinctively grabbed his arm lightly and dragged him to the shop.

"No no, it's fine really." He grabbed her hand off of his arm and smiled at her. She stopped walking and looked at him, completely star-struck now. "Where were you headed?"

"The um… park." She scratched her head then pointed past him to the tiny park overlooking a river.

"Come on." He kept smiling as he kept his hand on hers, pulling her to the park.

They got to the park and sat on a bench. There were kids running around with chalk and frisbees. Adults socializing. Pets running around chasing the kids. It was strangely relaxing.

"I come here a lot, to think. When I get to come home I always come here first, after I see my parents of course."

Chelsey smiled at him. She watched him stare into the water. She was a huge fan of his. She wasn't a 'fan girl' fan per say, hell she could never find the time to be a fan girl, but his presence could stop a train in it's tracks. She couldn't take her eyes off of him.

"Are you okay?" She snapped out of her trance and looked away quickly when she realized he caught her. She mentally slapped herself. He just chuckled and looked back into the water.

"You're really beautiful, you know that?" She turned back toward him and furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

He turned toward her and smiled again. He nodded a bit and looked over at a little boy playing with his dog. She blinked. Did Vic Fuentes just call me beautiful? Maybe the coffee smell from his shirt took over his brain.

This was her chance. To change her life. Have something new and exciting happen. It sacred her but she had no choice. It was love at first sight.

As soon as he turned his head back toward her, she grabbed his face gently. Their eyes shifted back and forth rapidly. He leaned in and pressed his lips against her's fiercely. He- he kissed me!

She tried to level her head but it wasn't working. She let her emotions take over. He finally pulled away for air.

"I… I think I'll take you up on that coffee now." She giggled and took his hand, pulling him up from the bench and back to the coffee shop.
