Taz sat up groggily in bed. Her hand groped for the screeching alarm on her bedside table. She groaned, and flopped back down. She pulled the blankets back over her head, seeking the warmth it brought.

"Rise and shine, Princess!" Up shouted into her ear.

Taz jumped and lashed out, her tiny foot connecting solidly with Up's jaw.

She shrieked at the top of her lungs, and threw off the blankets. She stared Up down, her heart beating a mile a minute.

"You ass hole!" she screeched.

Up moaned in response.

"What are you doing in here? What did you get in? How long have you been here?"

Up looked up at the black haired girl, and said "That hurt.".

"You idiot! It was supposed to hurt!"

"I was only trying to help!" Up moaned. "That really hurt."

Taz stood up, and helped her Commander stand.

"Awe, I'm sorry." Taz chastised. "Did that hurt?"

Up looked down into her doe eyes, filled with sympathy. He grinned, happy she realised she was in the wrong. He nodded his response.

Taz gripped his shoulders, and planted a big kiss on the bruise now forming on Up's jaw line.

"Poor, poor Up." Taz whispered in his ear.

"Mhmmm." Up agreed.

Taz's grip suddenly tightened on his shoulders, and she pulled down on them. Up folded in half, his torso bending towards the floor. Taz's knee met his chest, and Up found himself gasping for air. He collapsed on the floor, sucking air into his lungs in great gulps.

"Suck it up, Up!" Taz yelled.

Up howled in pain.

Taz stared at the man, a smile growing on her face.

"Baby." Taz teased lovingly.

She skipped around her room, quickly preparing herself for the day. After grabbing her bag, she suddenly remembered the man in distress on her bedroom floor.

She stalked quietly into her bedroom, and regarded the man before her on the floor.

Up lay on the floor, curled up in a ball, seemingly sound asleep. His thumb rested in his mouth, and his knees were tucked in tight to his chest. Taz's breath caught in her throat. She smiled, and walked swiftly over to the ball on her carpet.

"Get up you lazy bum." Taz called softly. She nudged Up gently with her boot.

He stirred gently, blue eyes opening slightly.

"Taz? Have I ever told you I love you?" he slurred.

Taz froze. "I... I..." She gasped. She hated sounding so helpless.

Up smiled warmly, and sat up.

"I love you too." Taz quickly finished. It was quick, but she meant it. And she knew Up understood.

Up stood up and wrapped his hands around his precious, yet dangerous lieutenant. Taz leaned in for a kiss, before freezing. She stared at the dried drool on Up's cheek.

"You're a pig." Taz muttered.

"What? You don't find it attractive?" Up asked, feigning shock.

"We're never living together!" Taz cried in frustration, throwing her hands in the air.

She turned her back to the Commander.

"Well that ruins my plans." Up mumbled.

"Wait, did you call me Princess?" Taz questioned, remembering her wakeup call.

"And I'm off!" Up was up and sprinting down the hallway before Taz could blink.
