For Shiny-Chang. Happy Birthday Shiny! Sorry it's a bit late, but I hope you like it anyway! It extends your birthday even more this way! Happy reading! XD

Sirius strolls – no, swaggers – through the Gryffindor common room. His cloak is tossed oh-so casually over his shoulder and his thick black hair is swept back off his face. He looks utterly gorgeous, and utterly cocky.

She sits in the corner, her eyes fixed on him, a small smile playing on her lips. Her eyes laugh as he flirts briefly with two blonde girls who flutter their eyelashes at him and smirk repulsively. (Do they know they smirk repulsively? Do they know?)

His eyes rake the room, searching for her. Girls preen themselves and sit up straighter, hoping to catch his eye, but his gaze passed straight over them. (Oh, how they seethe. She notes how they seethe.)

He sees her. He heads towards her. But she gets up before he reaches her, and heads towards the door. She is smiling. She knows what she is doing. He follows.

Out of the common room. Down the stairs. She goes a little slower, he goes a little faster. He catches up.

His hand brushes her cheek, and she turns away, but her smile could light up the entire staircase – she can't hide it from him. He laughs, and catches up her hand, and kisses it softly.

They continue down the stairs, and into the hall. The marble floor echoes their steps, perfectly in sync. Like two tap-dancer, mimicking each other's movements, they make their way across the hall.

Tap, tap, tappet-tap. A rhythmic waltz, two people utterly in tune to each other.

They reach the doors, and he throws them wide, letting in the setting sun. A light breeze whips us her hair and plays with it, and they both laugh.

It is a warm summer evening, and the smell of distant rain is on the air. They kick off their shoes, and curl their toes in the grass. Her black hair falls over her face, and he brushes it back.

They run down the lawn, their shoes and socks lying forgotten at the foot of the steps that lead up into the castle. The sun sets as they tumble down the slope, tripping over each other's feet and rolling in the grass. The clouds turn pink as they laugh, and the light fades as they stumble deliriously down the lawn.

"My shining girl" he says, his oh-so delicious grin tugging at the corners of his lips. "My beautiful, shining girl."

No one knows. That's the delicious part, they think. No one knows. No one can see us; no one guesses we're here. No one suspects us. No one knows of Sirius's lover. And no one knows who Sirius loves, or who loves him. The sun sinks below the horizon, and they laugh on the grass. No one knows...

Hope you enjoyed it, even it is a bit short and kinda late.
