This, as was the first one, is a birthday present (not to the same person, obviously, as they have been posted on different days). Today it's my wonderful roomie's birthday!

Steve Rogers was very confused when he found a stuffed hippo on his bed.
He was even more confused when he saw the number one on the front paw in what was very obviously Tony's hand writing.

The second stuffed hippo was in Steve's shoe. It was bright pink.

Steve slumped into the couch and dropped his shield next to him.
"That was a tough one," Black Widow noted, even though she barely looked winded.
"Yeah," Tony agreed. "Hey Cap, I think you've got something on your shield."
Steve sighed and picked up his shield, already expecting the hippo bumper sticker on the back of his shield.

"Is there a reason you've been putting hippos everywhere?" Steve asked, picking up a piece of hippo candy.
"Maybe I'm just quacking around?" Tony suggested, not even looking up from his breakfast.
"What?" Steve asked.
"You know, quacking, ducks," Tony explained, looking up at Steve.
Steve frowned. "Tony, these are hippos."
"Yeah, those are," Tony replied. "But the ones you placed were ducks."
"I didn't place anything," Steve stated.
Tony frowned for a moment, and then face-palmed. "It wasn't you, was it? Then who was it?"
