This is written for all of the NJSYO members. Love ya all!

Three rings for the first and second violin and viola sections, Best at playing melodies, Seven for the bass and cello sections, Great beat and rhythm keepers of the orchestra, Nine for the third violin section and PSO members Desiring for power (and talent for music).

One ring for the evil Conductor, With her horrible singing voice, In the practice room of the PSO, Where horrible, screechy, wrong notes lie.

One ring to rule them all, One ring to find them, One ring to bring them all, And during the concert bind them, To make the ISO sound Horrible (and make the PSO sound good)

In the year 2002, rings of power were made in the Red Bank Regional High School. Three were given to violin and viola players: Patty (plays second violin), Athena (plays viola), and Kevin (plays violin a.k.a. Mr. Concertmaster/ kid who holds up seven fingers says "i'm in third grade). Seven were given to the cello, bass, and other good viola players: Rachel (bass), Matthew (other good viola), Andrew (cello), Patrick (cello), and others that are not mentioned in this fanfic.
Nine were given to the PSO and third violin members, whose names do not need to be mentioned here. But they were all of them decieved, for another ring was made. In the old crusty rasin of Mrs. Tibbit, a ring of great power was forged. Into it Mrs. Tibbit, the evil conductor, poured in all of her hate (mostly for Terry), malice, and crulety (which she has shown to poor Rachel...). Free musicians became enslaved in her web of deceit, and the Third and PSO members, became confined in her will.
But there were some who resisted. During the last rehersal before the last concert of the year, a last alliance of violins, violas, bases, and cellos, fought the members of the Thirds and PSO for the freedom of the NJSYO orchestras. But the evil of the ring could not be undone, and as it unleashed its great fury upon the Resistance, all hope seemed lost. It was in this moment when Grace, the third viola player, knocked the ring from the Dark Conductor's hands. But the hearts of ambitious violas are easily corrupted, and Grace, who had this one chance to destroy evil forever allowed it to endure.
The ring has a will of its own, and when Grace was trying out to be leader of the violas (you know, seating...) it betrayed her, to her demotion from the ISO (oh no, shez now demoted to *gasp* the dreaded PSO).
The ring then was picked up by the most unanticipated person possible, David Du, a first violin who is ONLY in sixth grade. And now, He (david = frodo), along with Paul (paul=Merry), Terry (terry=Pippin), Athena, Patty, Rachel, Ellen, Kevin, and Andrew are on a quest for the freedom of Middle Earth.
