Selfless
What cause in this world is worth sacrificing yourself for?
For whom would you surrender your very existence?
Would you affirm to such an idea, adhere to such selflessness?
What, in this world, is enticing enough to die for?
Would your reply be marred with griddy hesitation, or be devoid of all doubt?
"Well that's a pretty dumb question, Zoro." said Luffy, eyes blinking owlishly. "There are plenty of things that I'd give up my life for!"
"Like what?" Zoro inquired, startled by such a sudden response.
Luffy cocked his head to one side, examining the swordsman with a raised eyebrow.
"Not a what", Luffy replied with a scoff. "You! And the rest of the crew! After all, nakama is the most important thing to me!"
Zoro mumbled something incomprehensible. Leave it to Luffy to so casually reply to something that the average human being would struggle over in a siege of indecisiveness.
I suppose that's what makes Luffy, Luffy, Zoro thought to himself with a slight smile.
