Lennie runs away leaving behind him the house with the body inside it. When George wake up in the morning, he knows about Sara's death. So he goes there to find out what happened to Sara. The policemen were there trying to solve the case and know who did it. He asks them about who they suspect. They say that there is a witness who said that she saw a giant person running away from the house scared who seems scared and nervous. George knows that Lennie is the suspect and know he must do something about it. So George goes to the house to look for Lennie, but he can't find him. Eventually, George finds Lennie in the ranch hiding with the cheeps and the cows.
