Earth, over the Pacific Ocean, 48 hours ago.

"This is the captain speaking. We are encountering some slight turbulence, but we still expect to land in Sydney in roughly one hour. We ask that you please remain seated, as this may get bumpy. Thank you."

Economy Class:

"Well this is great, just great, Arthur. I agree to come to Australia with you for your genealogy research, on a plane, no less, and what happens? The plane starts shaking."

"Calm down, Ryan. It's just a little wind."

"Just a little wind? Just a little wind? Look here you-"

"Oh, Will you both just drop it! It's enough to drive someone mad! No wonder your parents didn't want to come along, Arthur."

"Don't worry, Holly. Uncle Monty will be more than enough company."

"So you say."

"So he-WHAT THE HELL!?"

At that moment, the plane gave a tremendous lurch, throwing luggage, food, and passengers all over the place.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is the captain speaking. We have encountered some very heavy turbulence. We ask that you fasten your seat belts, and secure your luggage, because this is gonna be rough!"

"D'you think he could've told us sooner?"

"Doubtful. You look great with salad in you hair, by the way."

"Thanks. Where's Ryan?"

"Oh, no."

They turned around and found him in the row of empty seats behind them, out cold.

"Just as well. He'd be a nervous wreck otherwise."

"Yeah, jibbering and all."

So, there's the first chapter. Whaddaya think? Too long, too short, just right? Let me know in the reviews, so I know at least one person is reading this story. Thanks!
