This one is 'bout Nalia. I don't own any character mentioned in this story with the exception of Sardion. One might think that I'm an expert in putting the characters OOC :-D

Why are they important?

Nalia watched at her father's dead body, his blood all spilled in the floor, all his organs covered of blood, out of his body. Even through this was the troll's doing, she couldn't help but feel guilty.

She had stolen much money of her family , part of it was to pay the guards. Many left, staying only the loyal ones. She had given everthing to the commoners and the beggars.

They were still few guards, giving the trolls and the Yuan-Ti the advantage.

She wept. It was her fault. Her father's dead was her fault. Sardion looked sadly at the crimson haired mage, and put his hand in her shoulder. Nalia smiled sadly at the gentle half-elf. After that, she asked her friends to go out of the castle. In the way out she started thinking: Why are they important?

Why? Thanks to her thoughts of helping the common herd, of being a gentle soul that helped others, she lost her father, her castle, her LIFE.

Why did she had to care for simple beggars who never thanked her or payed in return? Why did she had to care for commoners who were ungentle to her when she didn't brought money with her, but only words of comfort?

Greed, there was only greed in Athkatla. Noble, commoner, beggar, Cowled wizard, guard, everthing worked through money, they were like animals that danced for the steak. She hated it.

She shook her head. She was having predjuices, not knowing the position of these people. Besides, she was the one that chose to help them. She was the one that killed her father.

But she wouldn't give up helping the needy. She, instead, would help thema lot more. For her father.
