I can do it I can do it. I am jess of district two our district was always pushed to win, to win the games, the hunger games. This was school. school here is training for the games collecting supplies, learning how to hunt, how to get sponsors, use a bow, use knives, use a sword, and last but not least stay alive. Right now I was learning how to survive. We were having like a mini math bowl, but instead of math we were doing games.
I was just slashed by a sword , but they don't care school is to learn how to deal with it. Jacob my partner found me. " Jessica are you okay" he whispered knowing someone would find us if he talked loud. "no hunter slashed me with a sword. My leg is bleeding a lot" I responded. "may I" he said reaching towards my leg. I nodded. "jess that is really bad luckily I know of a nearby pond. He scooped me up and started walking.
"here we are he said" I flushed it out with water "ouch oh" I screamed quietly. "jess I know this isn't the right time but can I tell you something. " he said while helping me take care of my leg. I nodded yet again and bit my lip from the pain. "I love you." He said.
Wow I just for a moment felt an even worse shock of pain. What should I do. I don't even know what love feels like.
