In Regards to Clark Kent's Stupidity in the newest Super Sons comic.
Through Thick and Thin.
Damian sat on the steps of Wayne manor dejectedly. Ever since he was forbidden to play with Jon he was quieter than usual. Much more quiet. He had even started to actively avoid fighting with his brothers. No snide comments or low jabs. His brothers were starting to get worried.
"Hey Damian, Bruce is firing you in order to make room for Stephanie to become Robin again."
"Tell Fatgirl I'm happy for her. Maybe she could do a better job than I did." Damian just sulked back.
"Ok this has gone too far." Jason plucked Damian from the steps and started walking into the manor with him with Tim and Dick trailing after.
"Tt" Damian sulked even more wen Jason sat him at the dining table and Alfred brought in a plate of freshly made chocolate chip cookies. "I am not an infant in need of comfort."
That however did not stop him from plucking a cookie off the plate and devouring it. Dick sat next to him and started to card his fingers through Damian's hair.
"Is there anything we can do?"
"Get Superman to allow Kent to be my partner again?"
"I wish I could buddy" Dick sighed, "But you know how stubborn Clark can be, just give it some time to all blow over.
"What if he never does?" Damian asked.
"Then he's an idiot and we'll sic' Bruce on him, or better yet, Alfred." Tim jumped in. "Now let's watch a movie or something to get our minds cooled off, I vote Star Trek movie marathon!" He jumped and ran down the hallway.
Jason ran after him screaming, "whAT IF I WANT TO WATCH PHANTOM OF THE OPERA INSTEAD!"
"YOU SNOOZE YOU LOSE TODD!" Damian grabbed the remote from him after Jason only just having stole it from Tim.
Jason spluttered for a moment and unleashed a deadly warcry before pouncing Damian onto a nest of pillows and trying to grab the remote from him.
"GRAYSON HELP!" Dick laughed at the scene for a moment before going to save Damian.
Or at least Damian thought he had come to help but in reality what ended up happening was Dick getting the remote and the rest of them forced to watch Frozen while Dick sung every song.
Cuddled between Dick and Jason on the couch with Tim laying on top of them, Damian felt content. He may have lost his best friend but his brothers will always be there for him. Through Thick and Thin.
And if Damian fell asleep snuggling up to his brothers with a smile on his face? No one mentioned it.
And if a tired Clark Kent found toilet paper covering every inch of the Superman statue in Metropolis the next morning? No one mentioned it, it wasn't necessary. They were brothers and they would be there for each other through thick and thin.
