Chapter 1 Fleeing from Fate Itself: Lana's Desperate Run in the Forest!

Snow is seen falling on the ground of a large forest. *Rapid Footsteps* a young girl wearing torn blue overalls is seen running through the forest. 'I can't let them catch me!' She thought in panic as she hid behind a tree.

"She went this way!" A voice roared as it and many others were hot on her trail. Hearing their voices, the girl booked it off deeper into the dark and icy woods.

'Why, oh why did this have to happen?' She thought as she kept running she pulled out a small lavender gemstone. "I don't know why they want you but I won't let them take it!". She spoke as she kept running and getting ever so Tired. "Almost there!" She panted as she then tripped over a fallen log and landed in the snow with a thud, twisting her ankle in the process.

"AHHHHH!" She yelled in pain, but her yell was just enough to get the attention of the ones chasing her. "Guys I found her!" one of them said as they soon surrounded her. "Lana give us the Stone Now!". "No way am I letting you jerks get the Stone, Not after what happened to Lincoln" Lana exclaimed determined to keep it safe.

"Lana, that's The reason we want it ok? so What happened with Lincoln won't Ever happen again". "YOU'RE LYING, YOU'RE THE REASON WHY I HAVE TO KEEP IT SAFE!...i-it's your fault that we lost Lincoln, Lori and you know it!" Lana yelled with a scowl as her older sister just gave a frown "Fine, but remember we tried being nice...Luna, Lynn, take the stone." Lori demanded as her younger sisters walked closer to Lana.

"Sorry sis, but Lori's right." Luna said in a downer tone. "Yeah but don't worry we promise everything will turn out for the best" Lynn spoke as she grabbed Lana's Foot.

Lana struggled out her grip, and slipped out her shoe, and slid down the hill making Lynn run after her. "Lynn Stop! Let her go we'll take the stone from her corpse." Lori said as they started to walk away.

*Lana* Lana was zooming down the icy slope at a fast pace, hitting rocks, logs, and trees before coming to a complete stop at the bottom. Battered and bruised, Lana was barely conscious when she saw a large figure walking towards her. 'The...Stone...I...have...to...protect...it at all...cost-' she thought as she blacked out.

Meanwhile the figure stood over the girl. "Hmm, should I let her live, or die?" it spoke quietly. "Whatever she's holding must be that important, she must have been followed to have been injured to this degree." The figure picked her up, and carried her then practically vanished into the deeper parts of the large forest.
