Another original "Jay-Jay the Jet Plane" story, entitled "Spring Festival" with added lines by tate310. Enjoy and comment.
It was a sunny day in Terrytown, and it was nearing time for the annual Easy Airlines Spring Festival. Many people from all around were coming to enjoy the rides and have lots of fun.
But inside the hanger, things were not looking so great. All the planes needed fixing before they could join in on the fun.
Brenda Blue, the airline's best mechanic, spent all morning trying to fix them up. She succeeded with all, except Herky.
"Herky, I'm afraid you'll have to miss the festival." she said.
"But why?" groaned Herky.
"Because you need your rotor repaired." explained Brenda Blue.
"It's not fair!" said Herky, who then started to cry.
"Calm down Herky." said Easy O'Malley in a soothing voice. "You can still be in the festival."
"But I can't!" whined Herky. "I need my rotor fixed!"
"Cheer up Herky!" said Jay-Jay. "I might need my engine to be tuned up a little."
This made Herky feel a little better.
A few days later, Herkie felt much better. He had a new rotor and was all ready for the spring festival.
Jay-Jay however wasn't feeling well. Easy O'Malley came to see him.
"We're hoping to have you fixed up for tomorrow." he said.
"I hope so." said Jay-Jay.
Just then, Brenda Blue arrived.
"I have the part for Jay-Jay." she said.
Jay-Jay was excited.
"But, it might make you tired."
Jay-Jay became worried upon hearing this.
"Will I be able to attend the Spring Festival?" he asked.
"We'll see. Now let's get this part into you."
Easy O'Malley watched as the new part was put into Jay-Jay. In fact, it didn't make him tired at all!
Jay-Jay felt like a brand new airplane.
The next day, thousands of people showed up for the annual Spring Festival. Everyone enjoyed the rides, and especially riding the airplanes.
This made everyone feel special.
