Shikamaru could always be found lying on a bench or under tree, watching the clouds float by. Sometimes he was accompanied by his best friend, Choji.
But today, everyone was surprised to see Shikamaru not acting lazy. He was running around Konoha, muttering 'troublesome woman' every couple of minutes.
"What are you doing?" Ino asked him, confused.
"Running."
Ino sighed, "Why?"
"My mother."
"Why?"
"She's a troublesome woman."
Tired of the short answers, she finally yelled at Shikamaru, "Why is your mother making you run around?"
"She decided to start punishing the men in my family by making us run laps."
Ino was about to reply when Shikaku ran past.
"Your mother is coming," he muttered to Shikamaru, who paled.
The lazy genius started running as fast as he could, muttering, "How troublesome."
Ino could only stare as she heard the shouts of Shikamaru's mother yelling at him due to him stopping.
"I am glad I am not in that family," was all Ino could say as the running Naras disappeared around a corner.
