Just something I put together listening to my favorite song "Black Balloon" by: the Goo Goo Dolls… I do not own the rights to the song, but it's amazing!
Background Story: Okay so Liv and Fitz hung out one day and Fitz jokingly brought up Bianca and how they kissed. Liv got mad and told him to not talk to her… you'll understand why you need to know :]
Black Balloon
You know the lies they always told you, and the love you never knew. What's the things they never showed you? They swallowed the light from the sun, inside your room.
Liv sat curled up on a ball on the couch by the unlit fireplace sipping her hot chocolate. It was cold out, too cold for it to even snow; but this was Liv's favorite time of year, so she didn't mind.
"When are mom and dad going to put on the fucking heat?" Eli shivered.
"When you get a job Elijah, money doesn't grow on trees honey." Liv mimicked her mother, taking another sip of hot chocolate.
"Hey, can I have a sip of that?" he pointed to her cup.
"Get your own lazy ass!" she replied, taking a long sip, and he growled. The doorbell rang and Liv jumped up to get it, puzzled on who it would be. She really thought people would be staying inside all day. She opened the door hesitantly and her eyes widened.
"Fitz…?"
"Can we talk?"
"I'm sorry, you have the wrong house… the skank doesn't live here." Liv went to close the door, but Fitz put his foot in the way.
"Come on, please?" Liv quickly grabbed her jacket and went outside, the cold air hitting her face instantly. It had gotten warmer though, it was now snowing. She grabbed Fitz's hand and dragged him to the sidewalk leading to the door.
"Talk fast."
"Liv, the other day… I was only trying to make a joke; I didn't mean to hurt you."
"Oh, so telling your girlfriend she doesn't kiss as well as the girl you cheated on her with is a good joke? Boy did I miss the punch line on that one." she answered, sarcastically.
"Liv please, I came here in the freezing cold to tell you I'm sorry."
"No one said you had to." Liv mumbled, rolling her eyes.
"Fine then I'll just leave." Fitz started off, but Liv grabbed his hand.
"Wait!" he turned around with a blank expression.
"I'm sorry, I just wanted you to sweat is all…" she bit her lip, and he put his hand on her cheek.
"That's not very nice, love." a smiled played on his lips, and she couldn't help but smile back.
"So I'm forgiven…?"
"Yes, for now; just don't do anything else stupid like that again." Fitz opened his mouth to answer her, but he was interrupted by the front door opening.
"Liv, are you fucking crazy? Get your ass in here!" Cece, her mother shouted, and Liv couldn't help but laugh. She turned back to Fitz, who was laughing himself.
"I'll see you at school tomorrow?"
"Sure." he kissed her lightly and pulled away, smiling.
"I love you." he took her hands into his, and she blushed lightly.
"I love you too." she answered and he went on his way. Liv quickly ran inside and saw Eli drinking from her cup of hot chocolate.
"Oh did mom catch you?" Eli winked, taking another sip. Liv shoved him and took back her glass back.
"Get your own lazy ass!" she answered and occupied her spot from before, by the fireplace that was now lit.
