Of never seeing her again in this life except for as a cold body laid out on a bed, all life from her beautiful features gone. He had wished her to be more calm, but not like this. Not like this. He'd lost too much in his life, he could not lose her as well, not again. Not to this. He paced the hallway, hearing nothing but his own turbulent thoughts. He had to act, and it must be then.
