Authoress note: I haven't been on in forever it seems. This is a bit sad, and really can be any pairing you want (I don't specify names) but I got the feeling of Ikuto and Amu more than any other pairing. I do love those two together. (though age is questionable)

Once upon a time there was a boy, shy, quiet, alone, who never had a friend. He roamed the streets at night and disappeared during the day, carrying a violin case and a small key. No one knew where he came from or where he lived. No one knew his age or even his name.
That's because no one knew he existed.
Once upon a time there was a girl, tough, pretty, popular, who had everything yet nothing. She would go to school and be surrounded by strangers complementing her on her appearance and grades. No one knew her favorite color, or her favorite game. No one knew her favorite song or her favorite foods.
That's because no one bothered to know her.
Once upon a time, the girl and the boy met under the oak tree every night, where the boy would play his sad violin and the girl would sit and listen and sometime sing with the blue-gray melody. This was the time both looked forward too every day. This was there solace in a world that ignored their souls and only looked skin deep.
Once upon a time, they were content.
Once upon a time, they felt like someone understood.
Once upon a time, that was all they needed.
Once upon a time, it all stopped.
Once upon a time, the boy saved the girl's life by pushing her out of the way of a speeding car that had turned the corner too fast. The girl was pushed into the grass hard but came out of the accident safe and sound, with only minor bruises and scratches. The boy who had saved her, on the other hand, paid for her safety with his life. He was dead before the car left the street.
Once upon a time, there was a boy.
Once upon a time, there was a girl.
Once upon a time, they were content.
Now, the girl sits by a headstone, crying the last of her tears as she stared at the blank rock.
And to the breeze she whispered,
"Why did 'Once upon a time' have to end?"
Sad huh? Well please yell at me , praise me, flame me, freeze me, I really don't care. Just some feedback would be nice.
