********OK, this is going to be one of the shortest Lily and Jame fics that you can find, but I'm only writing it because I'm bored and need some people to be kissing right now, and also the fact that I absolutly love Lily and James. Lily Evans and James Potter had lived across the street from each other for years. Although they weren't the best of friends, during the summer they usually chatted for awhile and helped each other with homework. Lily didn't like James because he was a flirt and could never settle down and James didn't like Lily because she was the only girl who didn't like him. But that was also the reason for their love. Lily yearned to be the girl that could settle James Potter and James wanted to be the boy who Lily Evans would love. So that sunny day was about to become the new beginning of their lives....br
"Here, Lily, pass me that quill."br
"There ya go." She was frowning at her homework. The two would be going into their 7th and final year at Hogwarts in two weeks.br
"So....James, who's going to be the new girlfriend for September?" Some part of her mind screamed, 'pick me!' but she ignored it.br
"Don't know yet." he replied. 'oh,' Lily's head said. They were sitting side by side and they were so close. Lily looked up to sneak a peek at James and James was looking down looking at her. It was then that they both realized they were millimeters away from each other. James' lips leaned foward, and then- WHAM! Their lips met and both were caught up in the sweetest kiss imaginable. Lily's mouth found that it had craved a kiss like this since forever and James was wondering why kissing other girls had never felt like this. Then they both thought: We were meant for each other. When the kiss ended they both looked at each other.br
"Well," James said.br
"Well," Lily said. And they both moved in for another kiss.br
