"So, this is where midgardian couples go to experience the joys of night?" Sif asked, frowning slightly at the neon lights flashing from the building in front of them. "It's . . . a tavern of the night?"
"Well, it's called a nightclub actually." Steve explained, staring questioningly at the long line of people in front of the club Tony had recommended. In his words: The place you need to go if you want to show your asgardian warrior girlfriend a good time. "I've never actually been here before." He turned his glance back to Sif, feeling his jaw drop slightly as he took in the dress she was wearing. Obviously borrowed from Natasha, Sif's short black cocktail dress came only to the middle of her thighs, and rode up slightly higher when she walked in her heels. She didn't carry her sword with her, but Steve suspected there was a variety of deadly daggers hidden beneath that skirt.
Boldly Sif walked toward the club, Steve trailing behind her. He noticed how the long line outside the place didn't really matter to them, as the huge guys guarding the place took one took as them together at opened the red gate, Steve ignoring the glares from the people who had obviously been waiting much longer then them.
Inside music blared from the giant speakers set up in the corner, while flashing lights illuminated the various couples on the dance floor. The two went straight to the bar, Steve wondering why the hell Tony would choose this place to take Sif out on a date. He probably couldn't carry on conversation with her with the music as loud as it is.
He sipped the disgusting blue concoction the bartender gave him, wishing it would get him drunk and calm his nerves. He almost gagged on it as he felt Sif grab his hand, and, with a smirk, lead him to the dance floor. "Natasha has been teaching me how one dances on midgard." She said over the music, wrapping her hands around his neck. Steve smiled a bit, then blushed scarlet as Sif began imitating the other dancers, pulling him close so that their bodies touched and moving against him with her hips. "I'm not very good at this", he laughed, feeling his hands drop involuntarily to her hips. His breath caught as she smiled at him, big and beautiful and brighter than the lights that illuminated this place.
Suddenly, the lights and the music and the other dancers melted away. He could only see her as he stooped down for a kiss, mouth meeting hers in a passionate embrace. He gasped as Sif bit his lower lip, feeling her smile under his mouth. There was no need for talking at all.
Suddenly, Steve realized why, Tony had picked this place.
