Double Take
Cuddy's POV
It had been over ten years since the last time I saw him. I didn't even realize that it was him at first. I had to do a double take. It felt like a movie scene, you know the ones were the lovers meet. Just thinking about the last night I spent with him, the only night we were lovers, makes me blush. After two years of flirting, teasing and touching our last night was spent living out our fantasies with each other. He still looks the same. I wonder if he would even want to talk to me. The last words we spoke to each other were said in passion. We never actually said good bye. He's looking over at me. Oh God, his stare still goes straight through me. I can't help but smile when he starts to walk over.
House's POV
Wow, she looks amazing. I don't think I ever saw her dressed up before. How is it that she looks younger now then she did ten years ago? I have to talk to her. I never did want to leave but it was better for both of us. Maybe we could abandon our lives and have one more night. Forget Stacy and responsibilities. One more night of fantasies, one more night of the wonderland she calls her body and I'd die a happy man. I have to go talk to her.
General POV
"Hey Lise."
"Hi Greg." They smiled at each other. Eyes locked, sparks flew, and they knew tonight would end with them in each others arms.
"So, how have you been?" Lisa wanted to at least pretend this was less then what it was, until they got away from prying eyes at least.
"Good. I'm probably about to get fired though." He said.
"What? Why?"
"The Dean doesn't like me too much, But who cares he's a moron."
"Oh that's nice Greg." She responds with a laugh.
"I try"
"I'm sure you do."
"What about you? Saved the world yet or did you decide to make your goals a little more obtainable?"
Laughing she said, "Great, other then the fact the guy I was dating for close to three years cheated on me with my best friend, who's gay, and I'm working on the world but right now I'm stuck with just patients."
"So, wait a second he turned her straight?" House said in a disbelieving tone.
"Oh no, Jack turned my boyfriend gay."
"God, the shit only happens to you Lise." House said laughing until his face was red. "This is what the second time it's happened?"
"Hardy har har, you can shut up at any time."
"Have I ever done what you've told me to?"
"One night you did." She replied.
"How about a repeat performance?" He asked in a whisper.
"I think I'd like that."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah."
"Well then, let's stop wasting time and get going." He said interlacing their fingers and leading the way.
"I can't wait." She said in a seductive whisper.
