(phrase) and then, ashes were everywhere
(thing) fireworks
They are like fireworks, just waiting to explode in a shower of sparks and beauty, nearing the time when all they have will be destroyed.
She's dynamite – beautiful, dangerous and explosive. She loves him? Perhaps not. But she knows that she's the spark to his flame and oh, how she loves seeing him erupt into a blazing fire.
Annabeth Chase is playing with fire, and she loves every moment of it.
He's a scorching flame – irresistible, uncontrollable and unstoppable. He loves her? Ha, not even close. How can there be anything but hate in his heart? She's his secret – the one who struck the match and set him on the path to destruction, she's vicious and cunning and everything perfect and she's the tiny little spark that set him ablaze.
Luke Castellan is burning red and gold. He is hate and anger and revenge, but she's the little thing that keeps him from total destruction.
Luke and Annabeth – terrible fates are written on their hands, but who's to say that they play by the rules? They shine so bright, stand so tall, that they are blinded by guilt, greed, blood and revenge. They are all-consuming, terrifying in their power, unquestionable in their greatness.
They are invincible.
They are whispered words and wicked smirks and stolen kisses that set the world afire. Darkness scars their souls and revenge mars their heart. Happiness is out of question – who cares about joy when there's a war to fight?
She'll stand by his side, even when his anger burns her, consumes her. She cannot flee from the destruction she left in her wake. She gives into him, because she can only resist the flames licking at her heart for so long before it tears her apart.
He'll do anything for her – she's his strength, she fans the flames of his revenge. He fought many battles, but he didn't win the war, and she's his solace, in a world he ripped to pieces.
When they collide, the world explodes. Beautiful and dangerous, like them. They have given up on their quest for justice – what is the point after all? They have found love and that is enough.
Isn't it?
He's the first to crash and burn. For once, he's cowering from the walls of fire and enemies surrounding him. His sins have caught up to him, he thinks, but he won't go down without a fight. He blazes like a dying star, a supernova on the edge of explosion and then, suddenly, he's dead and there's nothing left but a black hole.
She's devastated. The world is burnt to the ground and all that surrounds her is destruction. When he falls, the fire dies.
And then, there are ashes everywhere.
eh, not sure how I feel about this, but I wanted to write something aesthetic, so here you are :)
