A/N: In honor of summer ending for me as of this night, I am writing this chapter.
Written in Phineas' Point of View
The next morning was a giant blur. Things were moving all over the place. I had somehow managed to forget to pack my backpack for school today, so I ended up getting that done in ten minutes, which usually takes me an hour. Mainly because I'm talking the entire time as I pack...
Perry was attempting to stay out of everybody's way as they ran around trying to get some last minute things put into backpacks.
Candace was off not ten minutes after we woke up because for her, high school starts like an hour earlier.
"Wow Ferb, can you believe it?" I asked as I finished packing my backpack and was putting some lunch money away for later. Ferb looked up. "It's the first day of school for a new grade, a new school year... The possibilities. Can you imagine?"
Ferb raised an eyebrow. For what? You get to go out with Isabella? Ferb nodded.
"Cool," I replied grinning as I slung my backpack over my shoulder at the exact same time that Ferb did.
"Boys!" Linda called from the front door. "The bus is here, don't be late!"
"Coming mom!" I called as I raced Ferb towards the door, out the door, and into the bus first, Ferb was so close behind that it if the finish line wasn't one person wide, it would be impossible to tell who would've won. "HA! Beat you again slow poke."
Ferb rolled his eyes as he plopped down into the seat next to mine.
"Hey Isabella, ready for school?" I asked.
"Yeah, I suppose," Isabella shrugged. "I mean, I spent half the night trying to think of something that you would be thinking of doing, and I'm confident that everything I've thought of has gone through your head in the time I've been talking..."
"Yeah, but you know, that all goes through my head subconsciously... So it really helps if someone who is talking about something of little relevance starts droning."
The bus ride continued on like that. Every conversation all having to do with either summer, or what they expect from school that year until the bus finally arrived at school itself. Danville Elementary School. Which was right next to Danville Middle School. Which was right next to Danville High School. Which, coincidentally, was right next to Danville University. And if you looked from the top of Danville Universities highest point with set of really powerful binoculars, you would see Bad Habits Reformatory School for the Young and Innocent Who Stray from the Path.
"Well, this is it guys," I said as we met up with Buford and Baljeet as we all stared up at Danville Elementary School's open doors. "Welcome to an entire school years worth of no summer vacation..."
Cool, I managed to throw a reference to my other story in there as well...
Well, school starts in less than 12 hours for me now... So, until next time. Your host. Myron Greenleaf.
