Note: This is about Damon. I sometimes to write these spontaneous poems after watching something (really good). I'm not embarrassed about that, but kinda cringing at inflicting it on you guys. So thanks for reading. ^^

Disclaimer: I don't own anything. Please forgive me for shamelessly borrowing.

"It's Funny"

I'm trying to reason it out
It's a funny thing
the lies we tell ourselves
And it's a funny dream
to dream we're free
When we tell the truth
Sometimes we have to lie to prove
how much we want to be alive

Isn't it so funny?
Isn't it a mad house?

I thought that caring
would somehow wake me
I thought that trying
would somehow make me
feel more real
not this doll, in this house,
in this display case,
always the same case
never changing

Isn't it like a dream?
Isn't it the strangest thing?

I held your hand,
and I ran away
But it's funny how your
voice and image stay
I thought I heard the truth
I thought that made me free
Don't you hate it when
we really start to see?

Isn't that so funny?
Isn't that reality?
