My head was pounding, all I remember was being in my bedroom waiting for Edward to sneak through my window again since Charlie had kicked him out for the night, then a loud thump on the back of my head knocked me to the ground, when I hit my wooden flood hard I blacked out.
I sat up slowly, blinking rapidly trying to make my eyes adjust quicker to see where I was. It appeared to be a bathroom. After further inspection, I realised it was a girls bathroom, although I was not sure where I really was, I had certainly never been here before.
The deep blue tank top I was wearing and also my favourite light gray jeans and black flats were covered in dirt from the bathroom floor – it was obvious that no one had been here in a while.
I wasn't sure how long I had been in here. It could have been hours, it could've been days, I had no clue. All I knew was I was cold, scared and alone. It was dark outside so it must have been late. A noise across the opposite side of the room snapped me out of my musings.
Rosalie's beautiful figure stood across the room from me, staring into my eyes with hatred and vengeance. She walked slowly and confidently towards me. Cowering into the corner in fear of her and what she might do. She paused directly in front of me, a strange look of sympathy on her face – it made me cringe – she never looked the way she really felt.
Grabbing the front of my shirt, Rosalie yanked me to my feet, pressing me against the wall of the bathroom. I felt a sharp object – a knife – being pressed under my shirt and into my stomach, not hard enough to break the skin but enough to make me gasp and screw my eyes shut in pain.
"It was wrong of you to intrude in our way of life," she started, "you had no right to have anything to do with our family or my brother -"
I interrupted her, hoping to make her see differently, "Rosalie, please, I -I know that we don't get along but you really don't have to do this! Please?" I pleaded with her desperately.
Rosalie laughed darkly and shook her head, she said, "Ah, Bella. You just don't understand do you?" She leaned forward to whisper in my ear, "The only way I can ensure my family is safe," she paused, her cool breath making me shiver, "is to get rid of you myself."
With that, the pressure on my stomach disappeared momentarily, making me think she wasn't going to hurt me anymore.
"Ah!" I screamed. Rosalie had stabbed me in the stomach, making me bleed out. Rosalie released me shirt and I dropped to me knees on the floor, hands wrapped round my wounded stomach.
My vision was turning blurry and my head was spinning from blood loss, I raised my head slightly to see Rosalie and standing by the bathroom door. She smirked at me, and then said, "Goodbye Bella."
I heard the devastating noise of a lock clicking into place on the outside of the door. The truth crashed down on me like a ton of bricks; I was never getting out of here. Edward would never find me and Rosalie got what she wanted all this time.
I lay dying on the bathroom floor of the school; the lights above me flickered, making irregular buzzing noises. It was dark outside; the moon wasn't out so it was pitch black when the light went off. I could see the ever growing pool of blood on the floor around me, along with the rusty kitchen knife Rosalie stabbed with. I wouldn't survive until morning, so I lay there, slowly and painfully bleeding to death, wishing that somehow maybe Edward would find me.
A.N. this is my first fan fiction, hope you liked it. Reviews greatly appreciated.
