Author's Note: Jen and Wes were my favorite couple and Time Force is my second favorite Power Ranger show behind Lost Galaxy. This is my version to the end of the episode Undercover Rangers.
Wes Collins sat on the counter in the odd jobs office he and his friends ran. He was the Red Power Ranger and was helping his four friends who were from 999 years in the future capture an escaped mutant named Ransik who had come to this time the year 2001 to change the future.
So much had happened to him in the last four months and now he had fallen for the one girl who couldn't have Jen the Pink Ranger, engaged to Alex his descendant in the future. He had come last month and been a total jerk, Wes couldn't understand what Jen ever saw in him until today, when he had sent a new weapon a stratiscycle to help protect Jen.
How can I compete with him besides someday Ransik will be caught and she'll have to go back to him anyway, suddenly her voice brought him back to the present.
"Hey Wes" her voice was low and soft. But then she was beautiful as well, long brown hair and brown eyes.
Hey got off the counter as she came to him. "You really saved me out there today, thank you Wes".
Pain came to him. "It wasn't all my doing Alex sent the stratiscycle to help protect you, he may be a jerk when you first meet him but underneath he's a really great guy".
Jen looked down at her engagement ring once it had been so meaningful, her last link to Alex, but now she wanted Wes and only him. "Yeah he really is".
"You two make a perfect couple".
"Wes please", But she was cut off.
"I'm really happy for the two of you, you both deserve a lot of happiness".
She couldn't stand it any longer she would show him her feelings and took her engagement ring off her finger, Wes's jaw dropped down to the floor. "What are you doing?"
"Wes I no longer want to marry Alex he's no longer in my heart you've taken his place".
Her heart sang with joy as his arm came around her pulling her to him and the kiss he gave her sent shudders through her very soul. He pulled away slightly and smiled. "I love you Jen I have for a long time".
"Oh Wes", She threw her arms around him and they kissed again even more passionately than before. Soon applause brought them back to reality. Lucas, Katie, and Trip stood there smiling, then they were all in a group embrace.
Lucas smiled, "About time you two got the courage to say something to each other".
Just then the little man Jen and Wes had rescued from Ransik came in, "Hi I'm looking for a personal trainer you know to help me get in shape".
Katie smiled at Wes and Jen. "We have just the people for the job".
Wes and Jen both laughed. "Come back tomorrow morning and we'll set you up".
The man who's name they now knew as Mark smiled and nodded. Their three other friends soon made a discreet retreat, leaving them alone once again. They soon fell back in an embrace.
They would enjoy this moment but Jen already knew she loved Wes and would do whatever it took to stay in this time with the man she truly loved.
