Obviously the theme is "present" or giving a gift. Gajeel is arguably my favorite Fairy Tail character. Enjoy!
He was sitting in the back of the guild with a lone cup of water in hand and Pantherlilly sitting on the tabletop in front of him. There was a fire ablaze in the large fireplace near where he was sitting since it was winter and he didn't deal well with the cold. A fact he hated to admit and one that irked him since Salamander had not problems with it.
Both Dragon Slayer and Exceed were watching the crazy antics of Fairy Tail as they all celebrated with gulping down drinks, singing off key and the weirdest thing of all, exchanging gifts. Celebrations without a good brawl going on didn't get him into a festive mood so he never lifted a finger when random and almost pointless parties started.
After Lilly had finished off his plate of soft, gingerbread cookies from Mirajane, Gajeel decided it was time to go home. The heater took a while to warm up the house and he didn't want to conk out in cold blankets. As he pulled on his long, metal trimmed trench coat, Gajeel heard his name being called and he looked up to see a bobbing mass of bright blue hair bounce towards him.
"Gajeel!" Levy's voice rang out in his ears along with a sudden weight in his hand. Looking down he saw a little bag tied with a bow suddenly held in his fingers. Flexing his fingers, he could faintly feel cylinder ridges of a screw or two inside the tiny bag. One sniff and he knew the contents were made of iron.
Above his right shoulder, Lilly caught a small bag of what could only be cookies. Looking up again, he happened to glimpse the dust trail she left behind as she zipped around the guild, handing out gifts. Blinking at her happy and excited face, he smirked and tucked the little bag of iron made screws into his jacket pocket. Turning on his heel with his cat in tow, the Iron Dragon Slayer walked out of his guild.
He wasn't good with his manners and still had yet to make up for his past actions concerning the stupid squabble with Phantom, but that didn't stop her of all people from giving him something. The happy smirk didn't disappear for a few hours, much to Pantherlilly's silent amusement.
End.
