"Shadow magic! Shadow Bind!"
A black magic circle appeared in front of her as she held her hands out.
Two ropes made of her magic energy shot from her palms and wrapped
around the attacker.
"Nice one Kaiyo," the other girl said. Kaiyo grinned. "I sure got him! Now
we take him back," She snapped her fingers, purplish-white electricity raced
across the man. The second girl picked him up and slung him over her
shoulder. When they turned around, the came face to face with Gray and
Natsu.
"What the hell are you doing with him?"
"What's it to you?" Kaiyo snapped, earning a stern look from the other.
"He hired us to protect him!"
"He vandalized our guild!"
Natsu asked what guild.
The black-haired girl turned to the side, showing the tattoo of a wolf's
head proudly emblazoned on her shoulder. She then turned back to them.
"Kaiyo Shimazu! Soon-to-be strongest of Wolf's Fang!
Gray looked troubled. He said how Wolf's Fang wizards were some of
the strongest, even though the guild was basically unknown.
"Too bad the body has to get back to the guild soon, or we would have
given you a demonstration of our strength!" Kaiyo finished. Before the two
Fairy Tail wizards could react, her hands crossed over each other and she
called out, "Dragon Slayer Magic! Shadow Strike!" Natsu's eyes grew wide.
She's a dragon slayer too!
Gray shoved the pink-haired boy out of the way, yelling at him about
focusing.
"I thought you said you didn't have time for a demonstration,"
"I said WE! Only one is needed to take back the body, and only one will
be needed to take you both down!"
The flat of her foot came down onto Gray's head, but he blocked just in
time. Kaiyo's hands moved with inhuman speed as she shoved him back. He
saw her push off the ground. Hurtling towards him she yelled, "Shadow
Dragon Magic! Soul Steal!"
A black orb formed in her right hand as she drew it back. The wolf-girl
prepared to thrust it into Gray's chest when Natsu came out of nowhere and
grabbed her by the wrists. The orb dispersed and she was left breathless.
"I bet an attack like that uses up a lot of magic energy, right?"
Kaiyo just glared at him This is what Akira had warned her about. IF
Soul Steal missed, she would be left with virtually no energy.
I have enough for a simple transformation…
Natsu jumped back as her arm grew furry. Within a few seconds, in
place of a girl, there stood a wolf, as black as night. She snarled and ran in the
direction the other had gone.
"So I guess we follow them?"
Gray nodded and then ran after the two girls.
