Chapter 1
Ally's POV
I've been officially Dallas's girlfriend for one week, two days, and nine hours. Ahh. It's been amazing.
But we haven't kissed yet. And I've never had a REAL kiss. Just Dillon Summerfield in kindergarten, and that doesn't count.
And it's not like I can go to Trish for help. That's awkward since we're both straight. Even though she's worked at a kissing booth. Still. That's awkward.
Dez is plain weird.
But Austin - he would help me, right?
"Can u do me a favor?" I text him.
"Sure. What?" he quickly replies.
"Ummmm meet me in practice room asap"
"ok :)"
Suddenly, Austin bursts through the door. "What do ya need, Al?" he attempts to say nonchalantly.
I bite my lip nervously. Surprisingly, Austin blushes.
"I need to kiss you," I blurt.
Austin's eyes widen, and he takes a step back. "Umm, Ally? Are you...sick?"
"I mean..." Great. Now we're both blushing. "I've never kissed anyone before and Dallas has already tried to kiss me and I need you to show me so I don't embarrass myself" comes out in one three-second word.
"You want me to give you kissing lessons?"
I nod vigorously.
"Fine. But not kissing lessons. I'll give you dating lessons. But you have to promise me something."
I nod again. "Anything."
"You have to promise that you won't fall in love with me."
Hmm. Strange request. But at least he'll help me.
"Deal," I say, holding out my hand for him to shake.
"Mm-mm. Lesson number one: don't be formal. Go for the hug."
He pulls me into his arms, and my head fits perfectly in the crook of his neck.
Funny, it always feels awkward when I hug Dallas.
I guess I just need some dating lessons.
