Fireworks

Note: It's quite short, I know. fyd818 and I were playing a challenge game with each other, where we chose one line from an episode and had to write a fic about it in five minutes (we plan to make a series out of them on Psychfic, if you care to stop by O:) Five Minute Fics). That is my excuse for the length...however, I have no excuse for the "walking transcript" moment :P. I have that scene memorized, I love it so much, and I ran out of time before I could fill in all the blanks that I wanted to (though I was allowed to go back and do one edit ;) lol) I hope you like it though!! :D

Somehow, I'd imgained my kiss with Abigail to be...different.

I mean, yeah, it was nice; awesome, even. Full of all sorts of good things. But there was something...missing.

When my lips touched hers, all I could see in my head was Juliet's eyes as I stood barely a centimeter away from her, breathing with her as our eyes met. My lips touching hers then was nothing like kissing Abigail at the dance, but somehow...it meant more. I don't know how something so soft and innocent and un-returned could hold more passion than the full-blow kiss that I'd shared with my high-school crush, but somehow, it had.

"Shawn, what are you doing?"

"Nothing."

"Really? Because if you're doing what it looks like you're doing, it's going to be one of those things that we were just talking about."

"And what's that?"

"A mistake."

"Well I agree; but that's clearly not what we're doing."

Her breath had quickened, and she'd nodded just barely. She'd felt something too.

"Okay. What do you say that we're doing?"

"I call it...VERY close talking."

"Ah, I see. And do you have anything else to say?"

And then I really had kissed her. And somehow, in spite of the fact that it was just me and that she really wasn't kissing back, there were more fireworks going off in me than I ever could have imagined with Abigail Lytar.

Note: Eh, not my best work :p. I'll do better next time (I hope). And don't get me wrong, I *like* Abigail's character. Just not as Shawn's girlfriend :p. Shules has stolen my heart ;)
